CT101 Receptacle/GFCI Tester Combined

This was a replacement as I have used this tester for at least 20 years. Very reliable, easy to read, easy GFIC test, and compact. A must for any one who needs to analyze (110v) outlets.

I bought this thinking that for this price it must be really good for some reason so I would give it a try. When you work with tools you are always looking for better ones to make the job easier or better. Not this time. The Label telling you how to read the thing is utter nonsense and has nothing to do with what actually lights up, I had to compare it to a regular style tester to confirm what was going on, fortunately I had a couple with me. The form factor isn't innovative and better, it's just kind of stupid and is harder to handle. I rarely bother to return things in this price range but am this time just on principle, it's that bad.

I payed way to much and it only did half what was promised. It is not for Arc Fault circuits.

This tester is better than some of the cheaper models. The plastic LED light covers (caps) don't fall off like the others do. Spend the extra $ - It's worth it.

This is the one I was looking for forever! The electrical inspector had one. It's tough!

Worked better than expected
