I am so pleased with this deck. They have managed to bring these Italian Renaissance artworks back to life in exquisite detail from every angle. The reproductions of the images are vibrant and flawless. The gold finish with the etched patterns is stunning. The larger scale of the cards is great way to showcase these beautiful details. I also love the companion book that comes with the set that explains the imagery in its historical context and gives explanation for the additional cards that aren't found in modern tarot decks. This is a unique deck that is unlike any other I've ever seen or used. This historic version of the deck adds clarity to the modern decks at are now used. If you're just a collector who loves beautiful artwork, you'll be thrilled on every level and if you're a card reader of any level, this will really add to your knowledge and understanding of the Tarot in a meaningful way.

I had heard of this "family" of very old Tarot decks when I read Kaplen's Encyclopedia of the Tarot, but I never thought I'd own such a pack nor could ever imagine just how beautiful they are to behold. The detailing of the pigments sharing the card with the gold and silver leaf is awesome, and then to remember that these were done as works of art centuries ago.The deck comes as a complete deck, with the missing Triumphs(Trumps) and Minor Arcana in the original deck restored, you'll have to read the book that comes with it to see how they did it.If you love the world of Tarot as I do, or if you are a collector of art this fine reproduction is worth more than the asking price.Packaging is first rate. Shipping was fast, (for me anyway).

It is the most beautiful well done tarot I have ever seen - the extra cards make total sense - big like the cards used to be and is too important to pass up if you collect in my opinion - the best of the Anima Antiqua series.

I was super excited to see this deck for sale because I missed the Kickstarter project and bought it immediately when I saw it for sale. It is a beautiful deck, but I am disappointed to see that the sides are not gilded like the Kickstarter version's sides. It is gorgeous nonetheless, but it was sad to open the box and see it this way, when I expected the same version as was released previously. I figured that other buyers may want a heads up on this. The cards still have the gold and silver foil and they are lovely.

Editing this review because Amazon put the wrong review on the wrong set of cards. This deck is an ultimate must have!! I wish I could find a travel size. I take it everywhere with me.

Fabulous quality. Beautiful. But so large I have a hard time using them as cards. They are more like a beautiful work of art.Perfect for alter cards.

These cards arrived in perfect condition and all cards are without a blemish. It's amazing to hold in your hands the representations of the oldest know tarot cards. They are a piece of history and perfect for every tarot collection. I also use them for special draws like card of the year or month. They are also stunning for decoration. I love them.
