To all of the reviewers who call this product useless and junk, if you had read the instructions that come with the tube, you would have found that the tube is 2-piece and it screws apart, giving you a short extension and a longer extension when they're rejoined. The product description is also very specific:"- 2 Piece tube adapter specifically designed for the P510. Don't be fooled by the single piece tubes found in other stores. Single piece tubes are too short to allow for full zoom on this camera.- Bottom piece is for using wide angle lenses and filters at the widest zoom.- Top piece combined with bottom piece is for telephoto and macro/close up lenses in full zoom."...so next time, before you say it's no good, READ THE DESCRIPTION AND THE INCLUDED INSTRUCTIONS. You might actually learn how to properly use the kit. The kit itself is very high quality and everything fits my Nikon P520 very well. The price was fair and it shipped quickly.

After reading all the reviews I went ahead and ordered this set for my Nikon Cool Pix P510. It arrived quickly and just before a trip I wanted to use it on. The only thing that I had to work around is that I take a lot of wide angle shots and you are limited by that, but I found if I attached the filter to the first ring that you would attach to your camera and then do not attach to camera immediately. I would then find the shot I wanted focused then slid the adapter with filter carefully over the camera lens without pushing too hard and them take my photo it worked great. It just takes a little practice by it helped me get some great pictures.

Wow! Ordered Pro Kit for my Nikon Coolpix P510 on May May 13th, 2013 and it arrived this morning May 16th. Received package and contents in great condition. After checking out the contents of the package, at this point I'm really pleased with the kit as it held several pleasent surprises for me. The quality appears to be really good. I'm not sure that I can add anything that hasn't already been said in the previous reviews. I would like to add that I didn't find a limited zoom factor as described as a possiblity. I checked the measurements with a set of micrometers and found it does come awfully close to touching the filter but misses by about a hair. I was able to extend to max zoom then jump right into digital zoom with no problem. All I can really add is to say, "DANG IT" sure wish I would have had this kit last fall when I was roaming through the State & National Parks in Utah. It would have been a blessing to have the filters & lense hood on that outing. Not sure if it was available then. The Coolpix P510 is an amazing camera and this Pro Kit is going to be an amzing addition to it. Can't wait until the next trip to put it to the real test, so may update later! So I will close by saying at this time I do highly recommend the Pro Kit.

I am very happy with this product. The lens adaptor tube is very easy to put on and take off my Nikon Coolpix 520 using the provided Allen wrench. The three filters screw onto the tube easily. I find that, unless there's a special situation, I always put on the tube and attach the UV filter as soon as I take the camera out of the bag. The zoom lens can go to maximum extension wiithout reaching the end of the tube. This a) keeps the camera lens essentially dust free and as safe as possible from accidents, and b) provides UV blockage. The circular polarizing filter is also useful for some conditions. Excellent product at a great price.

The Vivitar filters are excellent for a novice like me. The adapter tube fits very well on the Nikon p520. You have to use the whole length of the tube that comes in two separate screwing parts in order to accommodate the full zooming length of the lens; using only half of it results in "lens error," when you zoom full-length. The tulip lens cover is excellent for the Nikon p520. I always love the microfiber pad cleaner.

My filter kit arrived in a timely fashioned and well packaged. This works perfectly with my Nikon P510. I find myself using the UV filter almost 100% of the time. I lightly tightened the set screws with the wrench provided for lens adapter. All the filters are threaded so you can stack them if you need to. Very pleased with purchase. Be sure to order a new lens cap if you get this kit because the diameter is now 67mm and the stock cap for the camera will not fit.I also use the threaded hood on sunny days. The lens cleaning cloth was a nice touch to the kit. All the purchased components seem to be very good quality.Converting the lens to a 67mm has opened up other options that are not possible with this camera. Now I am looking for some 67mm ND filters to add other effects to my shots.

I was thrilled to receive this kit. It fit my Nikon Coolpix P510 perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for as a way to add filters to my fixed lens. I love that it comes in two sections so I can fix one directly to my camera and add the second piece if I want to zoom out. And I love the tulip lens hood - helps filter out unwanted light and protects my lens and filters. Great set!

The product works as advertised. These are the three most useful filters in any camera bag. The adapter fits well and is designed so that it does not mar the camera when used properly. The lens hood is bulky but effective. Be careful about vignetting when using the full extension tube. It would be useful to be able to reverse the tulip hood for convenient storage in a camera bag. Nice carry case for the filters.
