This is not a LEFT angle cable, it's a RIGHT angle cable.
Same thing happened to me: What arrived was not a left angle cable but a right angle cable. The packaging also says "LEFT angle". Right angle cables plug into the drive or port and angle downward instead of coming out straight, they're pretty standard fare and very common. Left angle cables are generally much harder to find, and they plug into a port and angle UPWARDS instead. This was labeled as a LEFT angle cable (going up out of the port/drive) and was actually a right angle cable (going down). It was literally the exact opposite of what the description says said was, although looking at the photograph it does match the photograph, so perhaps I should have been more suspicious.

I have one of those super-tower cases purchased in the late 90s. The case provides extra bays way up under the top cover. This is where I decided to mount the SSD after modding the case to accept larger fans. Your standard length SATA cable just wasn't long enough for the job. This cable solved that problem and performs well.

Clips flaky
Can fall out of hard disk or SATA ports on MB. I'd take a pass and look for something with stronger connection.

Was NOT a left angle cable
What arrived was not a left angle cable but a right angle cable. I can't fault amazon for this, I double checked the packaging just to make sure it hadn't been an easy mixup. It says LEFT angle on the packaging. Right angle cables plug into the drive or port and angle down instead of coming out straight, they're pretty standard fare and very common. Left angle cables are generally much harder to find, and they plug into a port and angle UP instead. This was labeled as a left angle cable (going up out of the port/drive) and was actually a right (going down). It was literally the exact opposite of what it said it was.
