Not an insult
Unlike another reviewer, who was offended by the fact that the Toscane deck is French suited, I did my research and knew exactly what to expect. The cards are beautifully made, and the court cards are especially pleasing. This deck builds on my collection of regional decks from Italy, and I look forward to playing Scopa with my wife, who will beat me like she does at every game. The loss will be softened by playing with such beautiful cards.

Be aware that there are only 40 cards
Well made cards of a traditional design. The number cats only go up to 7. No numbers in the corners make it tricky to see the values at times.

These just look like a generic pack of cards that you can buy anywhere in the UK. Not at all ornate, like you generally see on regional Italian playing cards.
