Not sure if "real" silk, but good otherwise
Really can't tell if this is *real* silk or imitation. However, the cap itself is comfortable and I like the soft band instead of elastic all the way around my head. The adjustable ties are nice to get a just-right fit. From other reviews, I thought this would be small, but it is actually somewhat large so that I have to tie the ribbons tighter than the short elastic section. In other words, the elastic doesn't even get stretched when it's on my head.

As advertised, but not perfect for larger heads/lots of hair
You get exactly what is pictured - a gathered sleep cap with a tie back in genuine silk.One annoying thing is there is a hole left in the cap where it is tied together - so a patch of your hair at the back of your head is left exposed, particularly if you have a larger head or voluminous hair. This also means it's easy to get your hair caught in the tie if you aren't careful. It would be nicer if there was a flap covering this part.Also it would probably be better if the satiny part of the silk were facing inside, as protecting the hair with an ultra smooth fabric is the entire point of this product.Acceptable if you have a small head or little hair, but if you have a larger head or lots of hair I'd recommend one of the scarf-shaped silk sleep caps also sold on Amazon that don't have this hole-in-the-back-of-the-head problem.

I love this cap, just wish the ties were 2 inches longer on each side.
I love this cap.The only change that would make me happier is longer ties (maybe 2 inches longer on each side). Then it would be 5 stars instead of 4.

Cute Cap
Nice cap for my daughter but I wish it was elastic around the perimeter as this one just slips right off of my daughter's head each night and I can't tie it too tight or it will hurt her.
