Is not a good tool at all
Is not a good tool at all! Compared to my other cutting tools, this is a piece of crap! Almost useless and it doesn't fit around regular plate edges...even thick ones. Cuts are very poor. I should have returned this.

My Professional Tile Nippers (Superior #80) fell apart and Won't Cut Tile
I bought these to cut plates for mosaic. A piece fell off one of the blades. The blades won't even close enough to cut anything. Maybe I didn't understand what these were made to cut. It says "Tile Cutter" but it won't close far enough to cut tile - stays too far open. These weren't cheap and I don't have the box or know how to return them. Very unhappy and I will now go IN PERSON to HOME DEPOT to get something that will actually CUT TILES, or in this case china, stoneware and ceramic.

I purchased two of these thinking they were the old ...
I purchased two of these thinking they were the old school ones I remember for tile. The carbide has been sourced out and is inferior quality. Both pairs didn't last a year.
