Sanchis Mira Almond & Honey Alicante Turron 200 g x 1

Trying to have everything ready for the holidays, and being the first time buying through Amazon, we ordered/received a box in early November. Traditionally , Turrón its eaten after Christmas Eve dinner.Long story short , we about finished that box . Yeah, yeah ...I know.So, about 5 minutes ago , we just order two more boxes with the guarantee we will have it before Christmas.Enough about our shenanigans ,here product review. Yes, it's an authentic Turrón from Spain. Yes, its delicious. Yes, I recommend it. Yes, I am buying again.

Family tradition to have turron on our Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) snack table! Sanchez Mira is the only brand I buy! Great flavor and always fresh and a variety of flavors and textures. I buy several every year.

I bought several of these nougats, two of them expire in February of next year, the rest in 2025. Taking into account that this merchandise does not accept returns, it is not fair or honest to send them with an expiration date close to their expiration date.

I remember this special treat from my childhood in Miami. My Cuban mother would buy a few boxes of this Sanchis Mira turron, as well as the soft almond turron, every Christmas. It was for us a very special Christmas treat!The best way to chop up this type of turron is to use a sterilised flat head screwdriver and small (clean) hammer. With very little force, my mother would chop it up into something like 1" x 1" pieces. It's really too hard to try cutting it with a knife.Delicious! If you've never had this before, it's hard to imagine not falling in love with it.
