For years now I've had difficulty lowering my fasting blood sugar, and I don't want to be on Metformin or insulin. I've been trying different products with ok results at best, and even when on these products and fasting for 8 hours 160 is about the lowest I could get my blood sugar. After taking Glucodox only twice, one capsule each time, my blood sugar was at 125 and that was only at 5 hours of fasting, and when I ate before fasting I had a beer and a shot of whiskey mixed with some iced tea. I'll continue to use and update if I can get my blood sugar lower.

For 3Mos, 1 or 2x with meal 1 Glucodox: seems to keep the after meal tiredness away. Seen so much ads on Berberine, started it too 1 Mo ago, 1 pill 25 mins before dinner,Not seeing much weight loss.So, latest I'm looking @ trying too Life Ext AMPK, not looking to over mix these is important along with few other supplements & vitamins.

I used this product for several weeks and my blood glucose remained around 145 but with just my regular medication, my blood glucose level normally stays lower around 125 and I noticed that when I took this supplement it did not help to lower my blood glucose level when used along with medication but instead kept it at around 145, so I believe this is more of a blood glucose balance formulation that keeps your glucose level from getting too high or too low and that's not what I need. I believe, however, it might be able to work to keep blood glucose in check but because it kept my blood glucose level higher than my medication does on its own, I was just too scared to try it by itself, without my regular diabetes medication because I feared it might make my blood glucose levels go over 160. You can experiment and decide for yourself but I don't believe this can do what I needed it to do and that is lower my blood glucose even more than my regular medication can do on its own.

I was curious to try this product after looking up the company behind it. Although I hadn't heard of them before it is a relatively new company that was developed from a company with a background in pharmaceuticals and is only really marketing this product and one other. Looking around the company's website I got a much better feel for this product and was curious to try it out.Although the marketing of this is maybe a bit flashy and focused on energy this is a concentrated extract of resin from the guggul tree. This is an ayurvedic remedy that has traditionally been used for metabolic disorders and in fact this plant does have bioactive compounds in it called Guggulsterones that act on a number of metabolic processes. Traditionally it was thought to decrease cholesterol and this supplement is showing research that it has but there have been mixed results in studies using Guggulsterones.These are vegan capsules with the Guggul resin mixed with MCT oil and some proprietary method to enhance the Guggulsterones to also work on AMPA receptors. There are other nootropics and things like Cordyceps mushrooms that also work on AMPA and are said to increase energy both physical and mental. Since I use Cordyceps daily and sometimes can feel effects of that I have that to compare it to.It would have been cool if I was able to get a cholesterol test before and after since I have slightly elevated cholesterol but I was not. I didn't have any negative effects from these pills and they are easy to take but I also didn't notice increased energy or decreased brain fog in the way that I do from using Cordyceps.I was also left confused about this company's proprietary process that somehow changes Guggl resin to work on AMPA receptors. It wasn't really explained and although I trust the company's background I would have liked to see more on this but it seems like it was hidden behind the "proprietary" label. My guess is that this is a biotech company that believes in this product and is waiting on more small scale trials which is great, but at the same time we also don't have all the information due to this process.If you have used Guggl resin in the past with success this may be something to try. The price is a bit high give the amount of pills and I don't have a sense for how much different this is from normal guggl resin other than the AMPA benefits we have to take the company's word for. For me I felt that Cordyceps was more potent and has less potential for side effects. If you're more interested in decreasing cholesterol this may be a choice but I can't speak to that part with tests to show it's been decreased or anything like that. You should for sure google Guggl resin side effects as it has the potential to interact with other medications, even things like aspirin (causing additional blood thinning). So just use caution with this.
