A Great Take on Suspense and Detective Work
Bandersnatch is a suspenseful novel about revenge and justice. What makes the story interesting and unique is that the cast of characters working hard to solve a murder mystery and stop a heinous serial killer are mostly cold-blooded killers themselves with a sprinkle of rogue law enforcement. Rooting for criminals to protect society was a twist that I found refreshing. The character portrayals reminded me of authors like Lawrence Block, Elmore Lenard, with a sprinkle of J.A. Konrath. Like the last author, Bo Dimitroff creates a serial killer so vivid that it bridges on disturbing. The storyline is solid and satisfying by the ending, and the characters are intriguing that I'm looking forward to the second book in this trilogy, when it comes out. If you like suspense and are curious about exploring the world of mobs, you'll enjoy this story.

LIKE THE "GODFATHER" ON STEROIDS!
Bandersnatch `snatched' me on page one and didn't let go until the very end. A thrilling read filled with strong characters, strong dialogue and a pulse-pounding, heart-clutching pace. Dimitroff has captured the nasty world the drug dealers as well as slimy world of serial killers - and all the hatred, revenge, retribution you're expect in both worlds. If you're looking for chilling characters and even more chilling suspense, stop looking. You've come to the right novel. I hope retired detective Jack Apps un-retires in another mystery thriller.. Great surprise for a non-fiction reader
As an avid reader, about 95% non-fiction, I purchased "Bandersnatch" because I wanted to read some good fiction on an upcoming vacation. A friend who recently read the book recommended it to me because, along with the fast moving plot, I'm a native Detroiter and he thought I might enjoy the local references. I was not disappointed - great fun, great twists and turns!

Bandersnatch
We are told that a "Bandersnatch" is "an imaginary wild animal of fierce disposition". The author Bo Dimitroff, has provided us with a fierce animal of a murder mystery novel. The story is fast paced and compelling and provides the reader with a host of page turning surprises. It feels like the gritty streets of Motown. I took particular delight in the inventive and colorful language of the characters and there are a number of dark and threatening characters as one would expect in a story about a serial killer. But, at the same time there is more than a touch of humor and humanity in the writing, much of it embodied in the complex personality of the main character, Jack Apps.I recommend the book to anyone looking for an escape into a dark world of murder and revenge tempered with wit and humanity.

"Bandersnatch" this one up!
Bo Dimitroff's first attempt in the murder mystery whodunit genre is a wild ride through the streets, underpasses, and abandoned warehouses of rustbelt Detroit. The writing is as cold and methodical as the well-developed characters- as Dimitroff adroitly blurs the line among criminal and cop, for both are cold, often brutal, and capable of doing what it takes to get their way.The author has written an authentic depiction of the criminal underbelly of the new organized crime in the decaying urban setting and what it takes to go after them. Brutal, suspenseful, humorous, love shattered and realized, it's a great read. Write on, Bo.

The Best
Bandersnatch could be one of the best suspense books I've read. If you want characters that are colorful, humorous, unique and a little scary, you've got 'em in this book. The author has an unusual grasp on the evil that lurks within the mind of a ruthless seriel killer and is unlike any other suspense novel you'll read. The characters are so fully developed that they leave nothing to the imagination. Taking place in Detroit, a city fortified in antiquity, make this story packed with intrique. It's certainly a must read, and one that will keep you wanting more at its end.
