If you hate matching socks, this is exactly what you need.
I hate matching socks. I always come up with one short, or multiples that can't be paired. These little rings lock the socks together and keep them together as they go through the wash and drier. I've even gotten to the point now where I just put them away still in their locks: I remove the lock when I want to wear them, and put it back on before I throw them in the hamper. I've tried safety pins, other products, none have worked as well as these. The only drawback to this product is that it's plastic and I worry that over time, the little rings might break. That said, they're so inexpensive that I really don't mind replacing them if they do. Also, if you have thicker socks, you may find it a bit difficult to get them both pushed through the ring, could potentially be an issue for those with dexterity, or hand issues.I can't quantify how much time this product has saved me, but it's probably in the dozens of hours by now. If matching socks is as frustrating to you as it is to me, this is a product that will make you happy.

GREAT product, hopelessly stupid buyers.
You can safely disregard those bad reviews which claim that this product “falls apart” in the dryer. The people (idiots) who wrote those reviews somehow failed to notice that they were using TWO pieces which were never intended to stay together *at all*, let alone through a wash/dry cycle. Expecting the rings to stay connected is like expecting a canned drink to re-seal itself after you crack it open and take a drink. The little “connections” between the rings are just a by-product of the manufacturing process -- not a means of securing two objects together. They only leave those bits attached to simplify the packaging & shipping. So, go ahead and understand this: ONE ring is for TWO socks. If you have extra thick socks, each package comes with a couple of extra special “doubles" that actually DO stay together through any number of wash/dry cycles.FWIW, I am not affiliated with the manufacturer, nor the seller, nor Amazon in any way -- I bought and paid for these, and I was so pleased with how well they performed that I bought and paid for more -- I just can’t stand to see so many stupid people give bad reviews to a delightfully simple and elegant product. This product does precisely what it claims to do, and it does it very well.

I’ve been using these for 30+ years! They’re GREAT!!
I have been using these for more than 30 years, since I was a kid. I was the oldest of 4 kids and my mom didn’t have time to sort socks, so we all had our own color of sock rings. Some of the reviewers seem to have given them a bad review based on how they “thought” they would work, not because they had actually used them. They CAN go in the washer AND dryer, they don’t leave a hole in my socks, and my socks DO get clean. Although the “teeth” can eventually fall off, I can testify that this is after MANY years of use. I am still using a few of the peach sock rings I had when I was a child! After I got married and began having children, I went online to find sock rings for my children to use. These are made of the same material as the ones I had as a child, and I have ordered several packs over the last 10 years for my 6 kids, myself, and my husband (though he has been a little harder to train, even though he admits they are a good idea)! He has started using them on his dress socks in recent years. :-)These are the most affordable ones I’ve found, and I’ve recommended them to MANY mothers, as I consider them a huge timesaver! To answer some questions:—A single sock ring can fit a child’s pair of socks, or even an adult’s pair of dress socks or the like. Most of the sock rings I use are singles; I only use the doubles for thicker pairs of socks.—For those who are concerned about fitting thicker socks, you can either take the “teeth” out or attach two singles with a piece of yarn (that’s what my mom did!)—To use, hold the toes of your socks together and poke them through the sock ring, then pull through about halfway. Throw in the washer and the dryer!**I do not work for this company and they have never offered me anything for free or a discount. This review was left without any prompting or compensation and is my completely honest review as a user of many years!**

Work great!
They hold very well through wash and dry cycles. I only use the double ones as even thin socks are difficult to fit into one.

No more lost socks, or dark blue and black socks mismatched
The dryer "sock monster" hasn't taken one sock since I purchased this product. It is hard to imagine that a product of such simplicity can makes one's life so much easier. Before the 'Helping Hands Sock Locks", I would lose socks either in the hamper or to the dreaded dryer "sock monster", with socks missing after almost every third or fourth washing. No more. Now after socks are removed each evening they are placed in the sock locks, go into the hamper. Afterwards, leave the socks in the locks, wash and dry them as normal. When your clothes come out of the dryer, all your socks will remain in the locks until you remove them and fold them. Dress socks locks and athletic locks come packaged together in the package. Before cutting them to separate the locks, do read the instructions on the back thoroughly to understand how the locks work. Very easy to understand, but read them anyway. When you cut the locks to separate them, you will see how dress socks go into one lock and athletic socks separate into a different type of lock. Believe me this product paid for itself very quickly in lost socks. I now, no longer have a sock that doesn't have a match to it. How I wish I had found this simple, easy way to keep track of my socks before. I would have saved a small fortune in socks being replaced. Also, being colored blind I no longer have dark blue and black socks mismatched. I highly recommend this product without any reservations.
