BOSCH BC1086 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set - Rear

First time ever changing brake pads myself as a man in my early 40’s. It’s true, this is one of the easiest DIY jobs you could ever do. I know very little about brake pads, but these do have the presentation of a high quality product. They were easy to install, are quiet, and the brakes on this old car feel great now. Appreciate the indicator to help inform the driver of the need to replace in the future. I believe most brake pads have those, but not all. Great price for a quality product. Don’t wait until you ruin your rotors by riding on old brake pads. Our Rotors were in great shape, so by changing on time and changing myself I saved a lot of money.

This kit BOSCH BC1086 fits on Honda 2008 CR-V, but is missing the pressure clipper that holds the pads in place to avoid back and forth displacement. So you have keep and to use the old clipper.

Slapped on super easily and had a perfect fit. Immediately super quiet and good braking. Hopefully last longer than the pads installed by the shop we went to. Take the time to do yourself. Better, cheaper, likely last longer!

Works as intended. I changed from OEM to Bosch rotors and pads, they are quiet, no squeaks or vibrations after installation compared to the OEMs I bought off aftermarket years ago. I immediately ordered off amazon as I needed these asap. My first order from a parts place was cheaper but came damaged and very slow delivery. I had less than 1mm wear on the rears and also the installation was happening the next day with my mechanic. Exceptional delivery, they came pristine, compared to the auto parts dealer. In addition they even gave me time frames, early in the morning or regular prime delivery.

Fit my 2014 Honda CRV perfectly. Brake pads appear to be well made from quality materials. Great stopping performance, smooth with no noises or vibrations. Great product, definitely recommend.

Good so far

Just installed them on my 2014 CR-V today. Fit well and the slider clips snapped right in. They are super quiet and would buy again. It would have been nice to also include the large pad retainer clip but the old one was fine to re-use.
