I've only used this a short time, but I do see positive effects on chronic itch/rash problems. When I first opened the jar, I was a little surprised by the appearance. It is sort of a dry almost crumbly consistency ... more like a body scrub. But when you take a small dab (REALLY small) and soften it, it liquifies and is a really soft soothing cream. It has an odd smell. Not unpleasant, but unexpected ... sort of like sesame oil or paste or cashew butter ... not floral or chemical like most.It has helped some of my skin issues more than others but it may need more time for certain problems. It seems to work better on dry scaly itch versus itchy blistered rashes. It does leave a slight greasy feeling if you use too much, but it leaves the skin incredibly soft. I may start using this all over just for that reason alone. Definitely worth a try if normal itch relief products haven't helped your problem.

My son has psorasis on his face and scalp, and we had tried everything: medicated creams, prescriptions, and nothing worked. To me this has been a miracle product. I have battled psoriasis for 30+ years now and have tried so many products, some that have helped and some not so good, but never anything that actually helped clear up my skin. I have been skeptical to use the prescription pills because of the advertised side effect possibilities, which to me are a much worse alternative than dealing with bad skin. Within a couple of weeks of starting use of this product, my skin had cleared up so much and I only use it 3-4 times a week. With winter fast approaching and not being able to be outside in the sunshine which helps, I will probably step up to everyday use since the cold, dry air makes my skin much worse, Hopefully with this product I won't be miserable through another cold winter. It does apply easily and leaves my skin very soft and not oily. A little goes a long way.,

I received my order of the Shea butter about 5 days ago and have been using it. I have dermatitis on the nose only, which has a scaly look, and since it is just a small area and not the whole face, I just need to rub it on my fingers instead of the palms of the hands to warm it up before using. With just a few days of use, I can't tell for sure in this short time if it is doing better than other creams, but I think so. Will continue using and since it is a pretty large amount for use on a small area, it looks like it will last a long time. I don't know exactly at this time what star rating to use, so will give it a 4.

I've only been using this product for about a week, but so far it's been working great. My son started developing eczema on the backs of his legs and arms and ankles. All areas are clearing up. Only set back is that he started scratching a few times which brings us back to square one. He's now in pants and long sleeves until they clear up. Every day the areas look better and better. The smell is not the most pleasant but tolerable and I'm not keen on the greasiness, but it's working, so i'll live with it.

I have always struggled with dry skin and have tried many, many products. This one works very well to help moisten my skin and I love it! I also like the fact that it takes such a small amount to moisten the face and neck that the supply will last quite a long time. I highly recommend this product for anyone who has any type of skin drying problem. P.S. It does not clog the pores as other products I've tried have.
