From playing the epic game for the original SNES, Chrono Trigger stands as one of the greatest PRG games next to the Final Fantasy series for SNES among other console systems. When playing the game, the music captures your attention as you play through the different emotions of the game and storyline throughout...Through intense battles, different horizons when traveling through time, and the sad times where a certain member departs from your party in the game, the music says something. Most people will often think that the music is just something played in a game or movie to simply ADD to the scenes, but I see that music like this, for a game in the older generation of gaming, is a perfect example of great music (sure technology has advanced so much, but the music for CT was made so well for the game on SNES). Add the soundtrack to your library of other music and make a special place for this one, cause it's a gem.

If you grew up playing this game then I can't recommend this any higher. It will take you right back to those adventures with Crono and his friends. You'll be surprised at the depth of some of this music, and there really are no throw away tracks. Some evoke joy, possibility, darkness and even sadness. People who are just more general fans of video game music but not of this game specifically may be turned off by the quality of the original sound version, but for those who know the game this is exactly as you remember it.

If you've never played the game, then you have no reason to buy this. Although the music is superb (expressive, visual, and a superb example of its medium), the primary factor in enjoying these three discs comes from any positive emotional response you may have to the game itself.For me, I played and beat this game before I was a teenager. To this day it still evokes powerful memory responses - from the game itself, and especially the music - that can illicit powerful emotional feelings and euphoric sensations.If you are a fan of CT, then perhaps you'll see how timeless even its music is.

Title tells it all. The original SNES soundtrack split across 3 discs. Exactly the same I had back in the early 2000s, before I lost the disc in a move.If you are a fan of game music, this is an absolute must have.

This is the full soundtrack, not the "best of" that many bootleggers try to squeeze on one CD. There are THREE CDs worth of masterful music here!Liner notes are in Japanese.

One of the best original soundtracks to ANY video game out there. If I could, it would be one of the few that gets 6 stars.

It's a beauty of a soundtrack. Watch out for bootlegs, but the official multi disk soundtrack is really nice quality.

DS版を購入しましたが高音に違和感があり、こちらを購入しなおしました。結果としては正解でした。こちらが聴きたかった音です。

ｐｓ移植版をプレイしてました。こうやってクロノトリガーの世界を持ち歩けるって最高。中身の歌詞カードってやっぱいるね。浸れるもん。DS版も聞いてみたりしたけど別もんって感じでしたね。せっかくなので高音質で聞けるようにしたら感動も大きいよ。
