Durable and really works.
I use these lids to cover bowls, small plates and other containers of food for the refrigerator. There's quite a selection of sizes and shapes. The silicon is thick yet flexible and small tabs sticking out from the sides make these lids easy to put on. I can't imagine how these lids would tear unless they were stretched unreasonably. I did test how well they sealed by putting water in a bowl covered by one of these lids and turning it upside down--it didn't leak. These are a great value and I'm pleased with the purchase.

They Do What They Say They Will Do
These covers really work well. They provide an excellent seal, and are a great set to have around for replacements for those hard plastic lids that tend to wear out/break over time. Also very good for large collections of fruit, mixes (pancake/waffle/cake), or salad, in bowls/ports that you don't have covers for.Silicone is a versatile material and does stretch well - but like any physical item it has it's limits (it is stretchable within a range). This is not a fault of the product, but just a reality and one to keep in mind as you figure out what you will need these for.I would definitely recommend that you ensure food is cooled down before covering with these and putting in the fridge. Like any lid, food will provide moisture condensation on the lid after you put them in a cool fridge. However, with these, once you open them and try to stretch them back on the moisture becomes an obstacle to stretching because your hands will be slipping very easily. Rinsing off, and drying the lid becomes needed - before re-stretching - or you will send your bowl flying across/off the counter. Silicone is smooth and even with grip lines when wet becomes quite slick.I probably won't put these in the dishwasher (as any external silicone I have ever used becomes stiff under conditions of high temperatures or sun exposure). This is also the reason to make sure that food is cooled off well before covering. They are very easy to clean though, so hand washing (which I do for my hard plastic lids anyway) is not a huge issue. Same as other lids, I would not put them in a microwave - it affects plastics poorly (and it's not good to have that next to food anyway).Overall this is a good set, but make note of sizes here. I have a couple 4 quart mixing bowls that these will not stretch to fit, as well as some pots they will not stretch to. I'm buying an additional set in order to get those covered. It's important to review your needs and makes note of sizes in each set to make sure you're "covered" (ha ha) for all ranges of products you need these for. Recommended product though, these are a great addition to your kitchen.

Seems durable, good fit, easy to use and clean
Have been using the round ones for about 6 months. Liked them enough that I bought this combo rectangle/round set as a gift.Cleaning & wear and tear: Easy to clean by hand or dishwasher. Haven't had any issues with them tearing so far.Fit/use: Like others have noted, just make sure the rim of the container is clean and dry. If the cover is a good fit for the container, it does a descent job of preventing leaks (I have had bowls drop from the fridge and the lid stayed on), and it stays on well enough that you can stack things on top of the container. If it is too big for the container, it's still a good cover to just throw on top to keep food moist/warm/contained. I regularly use them to cover food when heating in the microwave, as well.

Silcone stretch lids
Bought these to replace the cracked lids on my pyrex storage. They work well, however, I found that they are a little difficult to get on.

Not the lids you're looking for
Sadly after three days of attempted use, these lids are going back for several reasons. 1.) On first use, out of the bag, the first lid I tried developed a small laceration in the center when stretched over a can of dog food. On second use, the little nick tore all the way to the outer edge. 2.) The lids are difficult to stretch and do not stretch as much as expected/needed. Causing gaps in coverage between incremental sizes because the smaller size won't expand enough to fit over a container, and the next larger size is too big to seal the container. 3.) If you can find the right size lid, they will do a good job of sealing a cylinder like a can. However, they are challenging to apply to a tapered bowl, as they curl up off the sides you are not working. Even if you think you finally got it, check back in a few minutes only to find the lid rolled up off the sides and is now sitting on your food. 4.) When put through the dishwasher, the lids turn from clear to frosted because of all the water spots. Disappointing but tolerable if not for the other issues. Finally, these lids may be smaller than you are expecting. That watermelon pictured must be one of those little personal "mini's." not one you are talking to a family picnic. The manufacturer needs to source a better grade of stretchable silicone, that would stretch more with less effort, stand up to repeated use and not leave gaps in coverage between incremental size lids. If solved, a product like this has great potential. Until then, I don't recommend buying.

Works great!
Can't speak to durability yet, but these work great as replacement lids for our rubbermaid glass containers. We have both round and rectangle containers with broken or missing lids. This is a great bargain and a great find. I definitely would recommend these.

Versatile and easy to use
I originally bought these to replace some cracked, plastic lids for my glass containers and they have worked great so far. They're easy to wash and store. The variety of sizes makes it easy to find a size I need for my various needs. I've even used a rectangular-shaped lid to cover a round container! I've also found it helpful to use the lids on containers that don't normally come with a lid, such as a bowl, or, on a container that wouldn't normally fit a regular lid (e.g. container overfilling with food) to cut down on the need for having to tranfer to another container and not having to wash more dishes.+++Hint: You have to make sure the container you're using it on has dry edges otherwise they won't stick, which makes sense cuz what sticks to water.

Great product. Big thumbs up!
I like that there are many different sizes (both circular and rectangular) because they fit over any container, bowl, dish, etc. In my kitchen. I also like the fact that when I drop an item, the contents do not leak/spill out, which saves me from having to clean up a big mess. Also, it comes with lids for bottles! This is great for when you lose your bottle cap or accidentally throw it away and want to save the contents for later. See the pics I have posted with this review so you can see the lids in use.

Not so great
Found these difficult to use as a replacement lid for my Decor glass containers. Had to struggle with making them stretch and grip on the containers, so ended up throwing them out.

Value for $$$
6 rectangle and 6 round lids and they perform just as advertised. Only question is when will I ever use the 6.5cm lids? 😉

Silicone Lids
I thought these would be great to cover all the dishes that don’t come with lids. They might do the trick once they are on but for me, just getting them on was impossible. People with any weakness in their hands will find these difficult to use. Even my husband found them hard and awkward to use and he is not weak! I’m not brave enough to use this on a bowl with liquid such as soup or spaghetti sauce! Too bad as I thought they were a good idea.
