Inferior cheese
The quality of the cheese was inferior. MSU produces much better quality.

Well Pleased
We liked the first one so much, we ordered a second one. Both times we received Dutch edam mfg by Kroon company in Holland, although it ships from an import co. in the US.The first was fresh and soft, with a milder taste than the edams I've gotten before. The second was firmer & sharper, so it was obviously aged more.Considering that edam is a seasonal product, perhaps there isn't much consistency in what the import co has available at times. But overall, we were well pleased. These were $37, with $10 shipping added. The last time I bought one directly from Holland, it was $36, and shipping was $35.

False Advertisement
The cheese that arrived was made in Seattle,WA. We were expecting it was a Holland product. Very upset of the money we paid $50. Cabot seriously sharp cheese that was made in Vermont taste better than this cheese and cost only $3.00, 8 oz. Who ever took this order don't care about their customer and I hope your conscience bother whoever you are everyday for fooling us and other folks.

Super great aged Edam
We've had two Edams from this company and couldn't be more delighted. We will order again. These were imported from Holland and not domestic as another reviewer claimed. Edam at Christmas is a tradition for my family and we were delighted with this company's quality and quick ship.

This oder - big mistake!
I had expected the authentic European Edam cheese. It was deplorable in texture and taste. This turned out to be a massive, expensive disappointment - actually the ONLY one I have encountered from all my on-line purchases. Should have received a refund !!Eva C.

Survival rations
So it's a bit over the top to replace tuna surprise at the extended care facility. Just last night the first slice off the top stepped in to keep a resident from going hungry when the dinning room fare was "yuckey."

Edam Cheese is the best.
I love the nutty flavor with just the right texture. This cheese goes well with fruits, crackers, bread, wine and much more. It's a family tradition for us to stock up on Edam cheese at Christmas time.

RIP OFF!!
I recently got this cheese as a birthday gift. I am Dutch and I love Edam cheese. But this is nothing but a rip off.- This is *not* real Edam. This has a distinct and nasty chemical aftertaste to it.- It is *not* imported from Holland, but rather made in Seattle, WA.- The product was *not* like the image shown here. It was from a different manufacturer with a different label.- It was *not* shipped properly, allowing it to melt. A feeble attempt at cooling was made with some cold packs which couldn't possibly have lasted an hour, let alone the several days shipping. As a result the ball was malformed and the wax mixed with the cheese.Thank you not kindly for screwing up my birthday present.
