ThinkGeek Build-On Brick Mug Red 12 Oz Hot Beverage Mug with Random Pieces

The mug is great, and being able to add LEGO to it based on the holiday is a lot of fun.My major gripe is that there are only bumps on one side of the mug, making it much harder to build onto the mug on the outside. I don't know what the design idea was for this, but I would have heavily preferred to have the bumps on all outwardly-facing sides of it.

You would not want to be drinking out of this mug, for any reason. Even the inside is plastic. There is no coating whatsoever inside the mug.The most disappointing, though, was that there are very few spots where you can actually place the Lego characters on the mug. Most of the area is female ( as are the feet of the characters) and only one small area that has male ends and can have the characters attached. Very disappointed , I must say. Not worth the money at all !!

Let's face it, putting Lego's together while drinking your first cup of coffee is a frustrating experience. As a Mom of 4 caffeine is a necessity I believe. I pour my coffee and my kids get "tea". (Some lemon juice in cold water) I have my special coffee cups, they have theirs. These cups keep my boys busy while I get my first cup down while juggling lunches, breakfast, heels and make up.... And it keeps them busy without electronics in the morning. They're fun, and honestly I love seeing how creative they can be without caffeine!

Have these for our kids and sent this one as a gift. It is not terribly dishwasher friendly... will fill with water. But if you use it as a desk fidget. with bricks or pencils in it...It's great.

The mug is a great concept but does not work as well as you might think. So far we have found that Lego brand bricks only fit on one side of the mug and they don't fit very tightly so you have to add multiple layers and even then they fall off. We do have some K'nex pieces and they seem to be OK on the other sides.

Bought as a gift for a friend who loves legos and coffee. Seems to be sturdy. The one downfall is that it's not microwave safe.

Perfect for both of my boys and my husband loves it too. My boys often put legos on thier cups in the morning. I love this cup because instead of my boys using multiple cups throughout the day they want to use their lego cup all day so they rinse it out after using it and save it on the counter. That makes less dishes for me to wash so a win for me. Highly recommend this red coffee mug. My boys love it!
