No key. Just pump it to effect spin. It works and is cute.

Cheap flimsy toy not worth the price
This was so small, cheap, and hard to make work. The little lever is sharp and painful to push.They could have at least put something over the end of it. It was not worth the high price. Very disappointed. Would not reccommend.

Don't waste your money on this item.
This is a piece of junk. I ordered this for my 6 year old granddaughter thinking it would be an enjoyable toy. I could not even get it to spin. It is very cheaply made. I returned it pronto.
