MC Hammer
Read the reviews on the crazy sizing dimensions but found a pair on clearance, so what the heck... Husband is 6’1”, 175, 34-36 waist & bought the large regular. Can pull the tabs and wear a belt & sure it’d fit, but the legs/crotch are ridiculously baggy. Length was fine for his height. Not sure what spec these are following but he can’t do the MC Hammer music video routine. I’ll send them to Ukraine & hope some guy over there can find a use for them.

Pants on
Wanted some for the hot summer weather, reminds me of the old days in the service. Great for hot weather you have to break it in would recommend

Highly disappointed
Bought these for hiking, I'm a 37-38 waist 6'1 205 and the Large Regular were huge. The tabs on the sides helped a little to make the waist a little more snug but still needed a belt. The fabric is traditional rip stop and not very breathable at all, had a rigid plastic bag type of feel. The leg draw string blouses are absolutely horrible. They don't stay tied no matter how tight of a knot you make. Durability is left to be tested, they did add you are stitching on rear and knee areas however there were a lot of loose strings out of the package. Will be testing these out soon and will update my review to reflect how they perform in the field.Tru Spec is a respected brand, not sure if quality has slipped recently or this is a one off pair of trousers.

Sizing
Seem like a solid pair of pants. The quality seems pretty good -- maybe a little thin. I'll update after a while of wear, but my only gripe at this point is sizing. I am 5'11" and usually wear 32x32 pants. In BDUs/ACUs that's usually a Medium Regular. Now I won't complain about a little bit of play around the waist because that's more comfortable anyway, but the pant leg is at least 4-5" longer than what I would call a standard Med Reg fit. I've never been a Med Short in my life, but with these, maybe I am.

Almost legit
I love the way these fit and the durability of them. Though I have experienced some fraying down where the blousing strings are in the lower par tof the pants. I never had this problem with my G.I. issued uniforms. These are good but the price is comparable or more to what you could get at a surplus store for used or new products. Wait for a sale.

GOOD BUT TOO BIG
I CONSIDER MYSELF TO BE KIND OF TALL. IM 6 FT, AND I LIKE MY PANTS TO BE JUST LONG ENOUGH TO TOUCH THE GROUND, SO I ORDERED MEDIUM LONG. IT WAS HUGE! TH WAIST FIT PERFECT, BUT THEY WERE LONG ENOUGH TO COVOR MY TOES, AND A BIT BULKY. ITS OK BECAUSE I HAVE THE BEST MOTHER IN THE WORLD TO FIX THEM FOR ME. IF YOUR ARE TALL AND A MEDIUM THAN JUST ORDER MEDIUM. OTHER THAN THAT GREAT PANTS.

The best cargo pants, bar none.
I have used and worn out so many other types of pants like these, but I promise you...if want a pair that will last for years and function as they were intended to, buy a pair of these. No questions.

What happened?
I ordered the exact same pair of pants two tears ago and they were perfectly mil-spec. I dropped a lot of weight and need a smaller pair. I went back in my Amazon history and reordered a smaller size using the old order but this is what showed up. The first thing I noticed was the item has a cheap zipper fly and not a button fly like the description says I wanted the same button fly the old pants I bought had. Then I noticed the cheap pocket linings that do not match the pants like the old pants I bought. These are garbage and basically a dishonest bait and switch especially since I used the same web page as before and they cost the same as the good quality ones the sent a year or so ago . These were still way too big for me so I am returning them and looking for a better made product.

Test of time
I've had a pair of Tru-Spec BDU style pants with the button fly and drawstring hem since about 2004. They are pictured alongside the new pair above - after 16 years I figured it was time. I had hoped to get the tri-colour desert camo again but seems that pattern is long deprecated. Main difference I see is the new style while cut the same, is heavier (poly cotton blend vs cotton nylon blend) and stiffer out of box. The waist seems tighter too - max 37 vs max 39. However these will likely need a few washes and wears to break them in. I also have a pair of 100% cotton woodland purchased in the same time-frame ('04). These pants are tough, comfortable and stand the test of time. I'm hoping the new Tru-spec pants will hold up to its predecessors. Great for in the bush, paintball adventures or puttering around the yard.

Washed out! Durable and comfortable but fade very fast
The fit is ok. Fabric is quite durable but don't expect to get your years allowance Frome these pants. I have a photo I can share with three pairs side by side. I bought all three in June but worried about fading so really only wore two pairs. The picture I took shows all three pairs from most to least worn against some of my other uniform garments as a colour baseline. It's really too bad they fade so drastically. The earliest pair is unfortunately now going to be a pair of yard work pants as I don't even feel comfortable wearing them with the rest of my kit any more. I've purchased some RIT fabric dye to see if I can get some colour back into them because otherwise they are still in mint condition. I am a commercial vehicle enforcement officer so I'm getting dirty, scuffed up and up and down from big trucks all the time. These pants are durable but the colour just doesn't stand up to routine duty use

Pockets not as advertised
Fit perfect. Actually larger than advertised. There is one error in the product description. It showed a cell phone pocket in back of the main cargo pocket. But it is not there. Minor problem

Worth to buy
Ordered 36-38 size as mine is 36, but sorry to say its very large in waist. But these pants I like them as always.
