HYBRIDHalter Adjustable Horse Halters

I LOVE this halter. It was designed with ground work in mind. Specifically lunging, that is why the chin strap isnt adjustable. It allows for the change of directions. I especially love this halter for showmanship work, or just respect in general. Lowering of the head and backing up. Teaching the horse to give to pressure, the knots react in a pressure point type of way. The harder you pull on the lead the harder the knots go into the nose. Great for a horse that has no respect and wants to lead YOU instead of you leading him. I love ground work and this halter has helped instill great mannerisms in my horses. Of course you have to know how to teach the animal, this isnt some magic tool, have to understand the pressure and release mechanism. Reward the horse for even thinking in the right direction.Over the past 3 years I'd say I've bought 10 of these halters. Between myself and family members. I've had one where the snap was loose and would not close for the throat strap. But my handy husband fixed it with a hammer, good as new.

I am replacing the exact same halter in purple with the blue one. This is my horse's halter that the barn manager uses when turning horses in and out - she doesn't want to mess with tying his rope training halter and this can remain buckled and just slip on and off over his ears. It works great and he doesn't pull as much as he does with just a regular nylon halter.However, the previous halter I bought matched the images perfectly. This time around, the halter I received is not what is pictured. The nose band is TAN instead of BLUE, which I don't like as much. It is also branded HYBRID instead of WEAVER, so I'm unsure of the quality of this halter. I know what I'm getting with the WEAVER halter and it has lasted 2 years and has no wear at all besides a little fading from sitting out in the sun while they are turned out.Anyway, disappointed to not get the item pictured which was branded WEAVER and had a matching nose piece. Unsure yet if I will return it. Super bummed.

Absolutely love this halter, my horses are very well behaved however this halter gives you just a little bit more leverage just in case 😉. I use them everyday & I believe they are made to be very durable & strong, if or when it ever does break, I will either get it fixed or just order another one! Love love love these halters.. I have used them on a border horses & the owners were so impressed they want to order some for their horses. I do wish they came in more colors. Each halter arrived quickly & were packaged just fine. I have many other older halters in the barn & they are now in storage :) Thank you for making this available!

Jaw clip broke very first use no way to replace it with a better clip although I shouldn't have to considering the price so I am trying to return hopefully that goes smoothly And just a note just because it has leather pieces this halter does not breakaway after I posted my experience with this halter the veterinarian let me know they had a horse seen that was injured by this halter while tied even under the pressure of a horse in full blown panic pulling on it the halter never broke

I have the control of the rope along the nose with the ease of the buckled nylon straps - best of both! I've been using exclusively with no breakage or issues described in other reviews. So far, so good!

The answer to my prayers! I am old and not very strong and not very tough. Hence, my lovely horse tugs me from her to there in her everyday halter. THIS HALTER HAS STOPPED THAT BEHAVIOR. Now, because of the rope over nose feature gives me leverage! I'd buy two

After using these hybrids, I can’t go back to standard halters. I do not like rope halters in general but this is a perfect combination of practicality and looks.

Expensive. Waste of money! This halter does not work any better than any nylon halter. Does not give any poll pressure can not be adjusted under jaw. Would not recommend .

Basically a weaver halter with the nose band replaced with knots. Disappointed. A plain old burwash rope halter does a much better job. I found this to be a gimmick. It will go into the deep recesses of my “tack that is useless” box.

Great halter, well made, and impressed that it fits my large draft cross!
