Bold Italian

A great recipe book. Scott just opened a new restaurant in Phoenix and some of the recipes in this book are the same ones he is serving in his new place. The food in his restaurant is terrific and I'm glad to be able to duplicate some of it.

Really different recipes with a twist. We have only cooked two dishes out of the Book and some of the ingredients are "exotic" and difficult to find except in specialty stores, i.e., braised snails, dandelions greens, castellina, oxtail, lamb, rabbit. But I like Scott as a celebrity and the book is very well laid out and pictures are beautiful. Just have to get more motivated to try his distinctive and flavorful dishes.

Lots of errors in the recipe measurements. Not much interesting beyond what has been published

I like Scott Conant! He has a different Italian style to Mario and Michael C. I have to admit I really liked his other cook book, though. I was not disappointed with this one, just wasn't overly impressed.

Expensive ingredients. I found this cookbook to be largely inaccessible. I'm donating it.

I wish it had more pictures. Seeing a dish prepared helps me decide if I want to make it or not. the condition of the book was great.

Very good recipes from a great chef.
