Well designed and constructed
Wanted a solid/safe panel box so spent the extra $ for this one. It is heavy, well made and the built in meters are a nice touch. Instruction manual is easy to follow. Works as expected and can power all of the critical 110 volt circuits. This is a lot cheaper than buying a whole house generator.

Safe and efficient
The safest an best way to transfer generator power to your homes outlets. Very easy to install with basic electrical knowledge and is simple to transfer power with select 15 and 20 amp circuits. High quality parts and heavy construction makes it my three time choice.

Great device for solar or generator install
This feels very high quality, also having 10 rather than 8 or 6 circuits is nice. Tip, the wires were somewhat mis-routed, the long green wire goes to the fuse panel not to the generator or solar inverter. It was not pulled out of device with the red and black wires that go to the fuse panel.

Makes power outages a non issue
Incredible price, easy installation. Have used in past and quality is top of the line.

Great Setup for Home Generators
Excellent value, good quality and the installation was straightforward. Added a 30A generator inlet box outside to compete the install for our 7,500 watt inverter generator (don't recommend standard generators for home setup as they can damage some appliances).

Great solar option, but meters broke quickly
This a great 30-50amp option for your solar project. It was really not hard to install, but the lettered stickers on the wires become unreadable quickly, so write down your circuits. It has performed fantastic, except for the 2 built in watt meters. Both were not adjustable, were inaccurate and stopped working all together within a week. Tried contacting the manufacturer, but they were unresponsive. Not a big deal though, my charge controller has LED screens that tell me what I need to know about my loads, etc.

A well made product
I actually returned this item because my electrician preferred a different set up to connect my generator to our breaker box. It is a solid product and it appears to be high quality. The 5 stars is my option on the product and the fact that the vendor was great about returning it!

Not for solar generators in UPS mode.
If you are planning on using this with a solar generator that uses AC to recharge the batteries, don’t buy it. This transfer switch shares the neutral with the line. That means that the neutral is not isolated. Most solar generators need the neutral to also be isolated from the line. If you connect the solar generator to the AC, while its AC output is enabled (UPS Mode) it will trigger all GFCI outlets and you will fry your solar generator.

Couldn't be a better switch
This switch is amazing. I like the sturdy box. Someone had mentioned the switches look poor but that's not true, and they have a old fashion design. I've been using it for almost 2 years and its performance is amazing. I can also use it with the generator and grid (in different loads of course) due to its features which allow to handle both at the same time.
