Even Better than the First
This very sweet story is the second in the Baxter family children series. I love all the books about the Baxters, and these more innocent prequel books are just as good. I love how Landon Blake was introduced in this book! The only reason I give this book 4 stars (instead of 5) is because I'm a little tired of Kari and Ashley being the most important...this is true in the children and adult series. I want more stories revolving around Brooke, Luke and Erin (especially Erin).

Great read
I loved the next edition in the Baxter family saga. It is a great book for all ages. It talks about change and our attitude during change. It helps us see if we are grateful for what we have and don't focus on what we don't have we will find peace.

Great book
I am 84 years old and have read all the Karen Kingsbury books. Bought these for the church library but wanted to read one first. I really enjoyed reading about the Baxters that I knew as adults but when they were kids. Highly recommend for young girls dealing with growing up. Karen will help them with her wisdom.

Kingsbury does it again!
You can't go wrong with any of Karen's books. This book takes the reader back to the Baxter Family when the kids were young and making memories in their home...the home that is a big part of nearly all her books. The way she writes you feel like you have been in the house as a guest.
