Great sneakers
These are my 3rd pair of Taos sneakers. Love the comfort and the look. The arch support and cushion insoles, which is removable for airing, is suprising for a simple looking pair of sneakers. My last 2 pair are 4 years old and still look great. I've washed them on gentle cycle and air dry them more times than I can remember. They haven't ripped or separated from the sole like other brands I've purchased in the past. I highly recommend.I wear them with my pretty dresses and get lots of compliments. I wear them for walking several miles with my dog as well. My feet never hurt or ache during or after. Don't spend money on similar looking shoes that are cheaper. You will be disappointed as I was trying to save money. Think about your comfort and the longevity and versatility of the shoe. Please note that they do seem to run small. I usually wear a size 7.5 shoe. The Taos sneakers size that fits me is a size 9. The size 8, Taos, smashed my toes. Please size up and keep trying until you find the right size. You won't be disappointed with these shoes.

Soooo comfy for plimsoles!
I didn't want to review these until I'd worn them a few times, but I'm so blown away after the first time wearing them for a few hours shopping, that I had to write the review asap.Wow!First, I have tried SO many of this style (plisoles) to wear with my jeans, crops and shorts - especially when on trips/holidays, but they've all been too narrow or too bulky etc... I even tried the Italian Superga plimies that Kate Middleton wears, and they were so flat inside that my feet hurt after a few hours of walking around.I pronate neutrally, so don't normally need any arch support, but when you are sightseeing or shopping for hours on end you just need that little bit extra, and these fit that bill... they actually have a mild arch support built in. Also, the toe box is actually roomy! My converse are just narrow enough that I must wear bandaids/plasters around my pinkie toes to stop them from rubbing. I keep them because they're cute, but rarely wear them anymore. These dont rub amywhere. Just to be clear - these are NOT wide though, but if you're a medium that enjoys more room, or are just a smidgen wider than a regular medium width, these should fit well. You can see in the pictures that I have already scuffed the right toe, but I can get that out with some white shoe cleaner, so I'm not too worried.Over all I really like the look, and I LOVE the comfort.

Comfy shoes, weird color
The following are the things I liked about the product and the things I dislikedLiked:-They have a high arch support, which I need.-They have a good insole. The insole is thick enough for me and I’m on my feet constantly for work and school. I also walk a lot and I feel that my feet aren’t tired at the end of the day like they usually are.-The style is great! I used to buy Vans, which are similar looking to this shoe, but because Vans offer no support, my feet would be killing me within a few hours. Taos, on the other hand, kept up with me. Taos is like an orthopedic shoe without looking like one.-I have several feet problems like plantar fasciitis, but I noticed that I don’t wake up with achey feet with these shoes.- These shoes are a bit wider than most, but that personally works for me because I have a tailor bunion on one foot.Things I did not like:-Right out of the box, the shoes are very stiff so it feels like I need a bigger size than usual. I just wore them around the house for a few hours and they began loosening up. I’ve purchased Taos before, so I knew this would happen, but they do get better with a little wear! I don’t like this because the heel of my foot hurts a little bit in the beginning and has an overall snug feeling. I’ve been told that all good shoes need a break in period though, so who knows!- Going more in detail about the snugness is that initially they felt a bit uncomfortable on my pinky toes, I think I have fat toes because this happens to me in most shoes no matter what size I try. So this is a warning to my other fellow chubby toe folks out there. The discomfort dissipated after 2 uses.-I purchased the denim black because I like black shoes, but the shoes I received were more gray than black. The photo of the denim black looks true black and the box says they’re black. When I looked through the other colors though, the shoes I received definitely looked more like their gray option. I attached a photo so you can see what they actually look like. ( I already wore them a few times, so excuse their dirty look ^.^ )

Cute shoes with one complaint
Love these shoes; however, the design of the inside of the heel rubs my heels and is painful even after wearing them several times. I have to put moleskin on my heels every time I wear them, but they are comfortable after that. They are really cute.

Super comfortable and supportive
I absolutely love these shoes! This was my second pair. I had previously purchased a pair in black and have been regularly wearing them to work for months. I work on my feet all day and these shoes help me get through my shift. I have high arches and a slightly wider foot in the toe area. I did order the wide size and they are extremely roomy. These are fun and comfortable, and I will definitely be ordering more colors.

Adorable but very stiff and uncomfortable for me
I gave 3 stars because the sneaker appears to be well made and is really cute. However, I don't know how anyone wears these in comfort. The insole takes up so much real estate inside the shoe, it's ridiculous. With it in, my heel slides up and down when walking even though the shoe is not too big. I feel at this price level, I shouldn't have to take out the insole and replace it with another one. Shoes are also very stiff although others say they soften after wearing. But by then it's too late to return if they're uncomfortable. I can't afford to take that chance. It's too bad because they really are adorable, maybe meant for less sensitive feet than mine.
