Tool built to weak to do the job it was intended for
Used the tool for a 2.3 l harmonic balancer and the first time used it the 1/2 inch drive for holding the tool broke. The tool is way to thin and broke with minimal force . I had to hold it with a large pipe wrench to get the job done. Tool fits very loose in hub not a good fit at all. If you buy this unit plan on growing another arm to keep it on the hub. Not a good deal .

Works but a bit loose?
Seems to sit in the balancer pulley a tad loose, but idk if the Ford tool fits the same or not. Either way will come in handy in the future im sure.

Wrong harmonic balancer tool for the job
I have a 1999 ford ranger with a 2.5 engine and bought this item and it doesn't work for this engine.

Failed on first use
I put a 1/2" ratchet on it, and propped the ratchet up against the lower control arm to hold the balancer firm. Then I put a 21mm socket and breaker bar on the crank bolt. On the 2nd pull, this tool snapped. The body of the tool is very well made. Solid. But the ratchet tab is obviously a weak point. Now I can't get the crank bolt out, or the new bolt in. I may speak with a welder to see if we can attach a proper handle on it instead. If not, will certainly be returning this. Ugh, more time and money lost.

One time use tool!!
The tool works but with the amount of torque needed piece where wrench holds it bent and almost broke.
