Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden: A Bible-Based Study Concerning Free Will, Human Nature, and the Fall of Man (A Bible-Based Study Series)

Great book for Bible Study!
I felt like I was reading Genesis for the first time! Who would think that the Adam and Eve story had anything new to offer, fresh observations, new insights, and lessons for today? This book stated that God would create something and conclude saying, "And it was good." But that was not the case when He created Man. As this book pointed out, "He left that choice to Us: to be good or not." When I'd read these verses in the past, this insight had never occurred to me. Many other lessons, applicable to today, such as "free will," were very clearly explained and explored in Chapter 11. This material was interesting and meaningful to me. I loved this book! It made me want to re-read the Bible to see what else I'd been missing!

Scratch My Head Moment.
Ballmar has presented probably one of the most fascinating and bizarre theories on the Garden of Eden I’ve yet to encounter. I give him 3 stars because of his thought process, but cannot provide more because it would incorrectly imply support of the work for sharing as a truth with others.I worry that for those who have not truly studied the Bible with historical connectors that have been grounded in sound research, they may walk away in believing his position is fact. If anyone were to rely on his approach to Genesis 1-3, then you must also accept along the same line of reading there were four Jesus’ as well when looking at the New Testament with the Gospels.Again, kudos on a very strict and literal reading and very loose interpretation of the first three chapters of the Bible. It was an intriguing read that allowed me to see into a new lens of rationale that may be encountered from conversation with others.
