These should be a lot cheaper to buy. 28 bags had gaps and were unusable. Wouldn't be a problem if they were cheaper and I knew to expect that. The first time I bought these a few years ago, I didn't have any problems.UPDATE: the company sent me a new box, which I did not ask for. Apparently they had a manufacturing/sealing problem that they didn't catch in time. The new filters appear to have perfectly fine seals- I pulled them all out of the box and the seals look good. I will re-update if I find them falling apart as I use them. I do really like them when they work- I use them for packaging and gifting our home grown mint- they handle the crunchiness of the dried leaves just fine, I have never had any rip for any reason. This is my completely unbiased opinion.

Who knew you could buy empty tea bags?? And in different sizes!!I purchased these for my sweetie who loves Thai tea, but doesn't like the residue in the cup from using a tea diffuser. An Amazon search led me to buying these and my fella loves them. They work perfectly...and as expected. The only issue is closure. While clips may be used...maybe even a staple?...I wish they sealed on their own. That's the only thing that prevented a 5 star rating.

UPDATE!: I received a replacement set for the defective ones, without even asking!. Due to excellent customer service, and support of an otherwise great product, I'm revising my two star rating to 5 stars.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Actually I do like them, and have been using them for years. The last package I bought have defective seals along the edge of the t-sac, that don't hold up, causing the tea to spill all over. Upon close inspection, it seems that approx 50% of this package are bad. I emailed t-sac in Germany and have so far had no reply. six bucks isn't much to quibble over, but it's usually a fine product, and frankly my confidence it it is shaken. Attached is a photo of a split sided t-sac.

I bought these to make coffee pods for single cup coffee makers found in hotels. I usually don't like the blends available in the hotel I usually stay at. They work fantastic for this purpose. The reason I only gave them 3 stars is because the seal on the side of quite a few isn't sealed properly and they open up. The remedy to that is to put a staple Where the seal opens. This usually closes the hole enough so that the grounds don't come out

I have purchased this product a dozen times (over the past year) 11 of 12 boxes of 100 were great, not a single damaged bag. They had a quality control issue with their manufacturing earlier this year where some of the bags were not sealed properly. Glad they got that worked out! Last box I received was fine.

We have used these every day for years and love them. We got a batch of the small tea filters that were defective but the company responded quickly to my complaint and sent a new pack that didn't have holes. If you have a problem it is worthwhile to ask for a return. Will buy again.

Think these work pretty well, just mind how you fold over the top - had a little spillage the first time. Would recommend for those who like loose leaf tea, but want the convenience of a bag.

More than Half the bags were ripped. Each time I go to brew tea I have to swift through the bags to find a bag that is not ripped. This purchase was a complete waste of money.Update: The company sent me a new box. This time the bags work...all of them! I'm happy they reached out without any hesitation with the product I expected. Will order from them again!
