If you can't read sheet music don't buy this book and in my opinion it's not good for a complete beginner in music but it does have a couple of good tunes

Geat tutor book
Best tutor around for the Concertina, particularly along with the CD of all the tunes. Excellent method for learning to play some real old Irish tunes.
