I normally wear a X or XX but got the XXX based upon Amazon recommendation. It fits great but if I had gone with a smaller size it would be too tight in the arms..I only wore it 2 times because we had a very warm winter. I have worn down jackets since the 70,s in places like Maine and upstate NY and this appears to be a good one

I've been wearing a winter coat that was good only to 40 degrees for years, finally got this one and it is extremely warm, well made and is warm down to freezing with just a tee shirt underneath. Light and not bulky, I like that the hood also contains down and so do the pockets as I don't like to wear gloves. Very satisfied and I would highly recommend it. It also comes with a small bag to store the coat in summer.

This coat looks well made and appears warm. True to size chart.

I'm glad I bought a size larger than I normally wear because it doesn't fit snugly. My only complaint is that the zipper should be larger . .small zipper hard to get started with cold hands. I hate to have to pay $400 for a coat but it seems to be worth the money. Much warmer than a similar bulk polyfill jacket.

Works well in a wide range of temperatures. I have worn this jacket in temperatures ranging from the mid 30s (F) to wind chills in the -25° F area and stayed comfortable. It is a bit bulky for driving but I feel that is a very fair trade off.

An absolutely beautiful n well made coat that would keep you warm in below zero climates or extended periods outdoors in any weather.Amazing quality in this coat.

This is old school, but the design is timeless and having it for a year it was worth every penny.
