Lewis Bag - Ice Crushing Canvas Bag with Drawstring

This ice crushing canvas bag is a staple in any home bar set! Many drinks call for crushed ice and who wants to pull out the blender for a drink or two? Not me. This bag is finished around the edges and sewn very securely so you don't have to worry about the ice coming out of the sides. The ice doesn't leak out of the bag. I did not have a wooden mallet, so I used a large wooden spoon, and it worked perfectly for me. I just hung mine over a glass to dry after use. It comes with a recipe booklet in case you get stumped for a drink recipe. ;-)

After reading reviews of similar products, I chose this one. Other ones mentioned the seams not holding up. This bag is well constructed. I have used it 3 times now. I bought the wooden mallet (looks like Thor's hammer, mjolnir) . The combination really makes for nice crushed ice, which in turn makes for an ice cold martini.

This is great for crushing ice for mixed drinks. I don't have a crushed ice option on my fridge, so I was always stuck makingMoscow Mules and Mint Juleps with big ice cubes like a sucker. I picked up this canvas bag and a big wooden mallet, and can work out my anger issues while bartending. Win/win, right? This bag dries out quickly and seems pretty sturdy.

My 3 year old Great Granddaughter loves crushed ice. I did the whole tray and she can help herself to it every day. I can't get over that the crushed ice doesn't stick together. So much easier than crushing 3 ice cubes every day

Does what it's supposed to. One drawback that can be addressed is the interior seam collects bits of ice, which melt, and keep the interior damp. Not so good, so one just has to turn the bag inside out after using it so it dries completely.

Rarely have I seen such a simple product perform its intended function so well. This bag is quite sturdy and well-made, with strong double-stitched seams. The ice I put in it crushed into perfect sizes with no drippy mess and its heavy enough to stand upside down on its own to dry. No more cocktails with clunky ice for this broad!

Awesome..I've liked chipping my ice for drinks for years,but it's not the most efficient method for a group. I like the variety of sizes I get with chipping..small parts for instant cooling and larger for the distance.. I pretty much have that kind of control with the Lewis,without the flying shards! Great value.. Go for it !!

I've been looking for a great way to make csrushed ice and finally found it. Nicely finished canvas bag with no loose threads that makes crushing ice so much fun. I'm looking forward to using it many years to come.
