This is a fantastic switch. It Definitely works at 1GB/s and most importantly it is one of the only 8 port Gigabit switches that works at 5v (all the rest are 9v, 12v or one is even 24v). This means it can be powered by a spare USB port (which is what I am doing). This means you are saving the need of an extra mains power plug from the wall and also its extremly light on power use as its only 5v/1a.

Ich habe bisher keine Probleme mit dem Switch.Speed ist okay und dank 5V kann man ihn über einen USB-Hub versorgen (vorausgesetzt es ist ein Hub mit eigenem Netzteil).Ein kleiner Makel ist aber trotzdem vorhanden.Das USB-Stromkabel ist etwas kurz geraten (nur wenige cm lang)

Most 4/8 Port switches operate at 9V or 12V DC Whereas this one operates at the popular 5V DC off of an USB port. The power consumption is just a hair below my 9V and 12V switches when fully loaded, so upgrading for the power savings is not fiscally beneficial. Please note that you can use the supplied very short cable and USB power adapter, but if you have a charging port on any device Iike your XBox One, PS4, or Docking station that you can just use that port to supple the needed 5W of peak power. Personally I'm using a USB power brick as these "charging stations" have gold+ rated AC/DC power conversion.

Third quality of product. This product totally made of plastic. Don't buy it go for tplink or Netgear one. In my opinion Netgear one is best. Neatgear has better and metal body. Also the Seller Iconic is third grade seller thoose send me a scratch wala product. I pay for a brand new product but they send me a scratch wala product. I told amazon but amazon totally not supporting to arrange a replacement. In one worst worst product quality&Worst seller send me scratch wala product&Wrost amazon Support

Works great, and can be powered via usb. Great!
