I got this for my husband who had a basic one that he has been using for years but the spring was just about shot in it. He got it and didn't read the instructions of course so had no idea how to adjust the different pressures for the hand grip. He said it just spins and doesn't do anything as he is spinning the part that is supposed to lock it in place once you move the spring to desired pressure. Maybe it is the fact that he is used to his old one that makes it more difficult for him to adjust to it. He said that he does not feel that it is as much of a work out for the hand because at the max pressure that the grip does not fully extend out as it does for the easier setting. However, I told him are you not supposed to control it in order to get maximum effect just like when lifting weights and not fully extending/distending at which time he just grunted. So I think that overall it is a good hand grip, I can't give it 5 stars only because he is not fully satisfied with it. If after he has used it for some time and changed his mind then I will update my review, but as it is now it is at likeable level. I received this product at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased review.

arrived two days late and no matter how many times, I tried to increase the resistance, it never changed.

good cheap exercise machine...bought it because i read that it could help lower blood pressure

I would give it a higher rating if it had non-slip grips. Otherwise it performes OK.

So far working like it should.

Very well made product. Feels sturdy and should last. It's adjustable but I haven't tried changing any settings as it works great out of the box.
