I have many complains after having used this thing for just two days.I ordered this one and the 8400 mAh one the latter has already been returned to Amazon due to it being defective right out of the box. To start, it doesn't include a quick start guide, warranty card or even a charger. What good is a power bank if you don't provide a charger with it?! Secondly, you don't get any information at all about the company who makes these. Not in the box or outside of it. How would you even contact them?Lastly, this thing doesn't have nearly as much as the advertised capacity. I completely charged it upon delivery and the first phone I charged (2100 mAh) seemed to drain about 3/4 out of this power bank. It should be able to charge it twice without any problems.I will be returning this one as well and buying a quality product.Like the tittle says. Stay away.

The product appears veyr well built. It was clearly defective. I tried multiple adapters and cables but it wouldn't charge. I usually don't pay much attention to negative reviews, but in this case there were more than usual. The Amazon rep was great, but I still need to go through the hassle of a return. I thought I'd be fair and call Modern Portable customer service. I got no answer- not even an answering machine.

The jHub Elite performed great in charging my iPhone which was almost out of battery on a day long trip in Normandy. A tourist from Australia said the smartphone will recharge 3x faster by using the airplane mode setting. Can anyone verify if that is true?
