CoscoStylaire Retro 2-Step, Steel Step Stool, Yellow

This is a sturdy stool. The color in the picture is deceiving. I thought the color was closer to cream. It's yellow.

I have a same step stool from a local big box store for using in the kitchen to reach the top shelf. It can also be used as a stool to sit on it, or put your feet on it. It is handy enough to be tucked away. I like it so much that I ordered a 2nd one from Amazon and use it in my sewing room. As to the assembling, all it took was 5 screws with washers. One of the screws is for the center joint.

I seem to be an inch too short, from reaching high shelves, upper cabinets, HVAC vents, those boxes at the top of my clothes closet, etc., etc.We have a 3-tier step ladder. It's a good one, but the steps are narrow and on the top step, your center of gravity makes it feel like you are going to tip over. Plus, a pain to get out, unfold, position safely, and the put away.I was dragging chairs around because of the larger area to stand on, and room to set a hammer or similar. Obviously not ideal.This small yellow step stool turned out to be the perfect solution.Well made and simple assembly; a few screws and VOILA - stable and trustworthy.Very appealing retro look.Easy to pick up and tote about. I keep mine at the foot of my bed to assist my senior kitty.Non-slip surface.I should have bought this years ago. It's much safer than what I was doing, and no more requesting help from the 6-foot tall people in my household...

Had to go buy 2 more because the kids were fighting over it. looks a little odd because the legs stick out at a weird angle for a stool.

When we left our older cosco stool during a move, I thought we could do without it. Wrong! I put up with not having it for three years and finally started to search for an exact replacement. Sadly, I found the model was no longer available. We took a chance and ordered this newer model. My conception was that newer models are never as good as the originals. I am SO glad to say this model is every bit as good, as strong, as wonderful as my old favorite!!! It's so sturdy, well made and balanced for stability as my original. I truly highly recommend this stool. I find myself using as a perfect size step stool for getting stuff off the high shelves in my kitchen, pantry and laundry room. I also use it to sit while I'm grooming my dog. So many uses and stable and sturdy. You'll love having your own!

I love this little retro stool. My old home has very high cabinets and I am short. This gets me tall enough to reach what I need without feeling like I am going to fall. It is also tall enough to use as an extra little seat if need be.

Great stool, have used it to paint the house and even withstood removing the paint with stripper. Holding up good!
