POWER PUTTY is a high quality silicone rubber with the unique ability to resist in proportion to the pressure applied against it. For example, under hard impact it bounces like a rubber ball and under slow force it stretches like elastic. It can be squeezed, stretched, pinched, and pulled to provide exercises for strengthening the muscles of the fingers, hand, wrist, and forearm. Power Putty is made in five levels of resistance that are color coded for individual strengthening needs. It is used by medical professionals for hand rehabilitation after surgeries, fractures, sprains, stroke recovery, and arthritis. It is also sold in sports, fitness, and massage supply stores to increase hand strength and improve performance. Power Putty is used to improve dexterity and motor coordination for occupational requirements of dental hygienists, massage therapists, and musicians. Strengthens all muscles of the hand Exercises individual fingers and thumb Works fingers in a full range of motion from closure to extension Develops strength and dexterity The makers of Power Putty suggest: To help alleviate the color pigment rubbing off onto your hands and before using the putty, please do the following: Wash your hands with soap and warm water. Dry your hands thoroughly. This will remove any excess oils, lotions, etc. that have accumulated on your hands. If you use Power Putty for an extended amount of time and/or use it rigorously, Power Putty recommends you wash and dry your hands often while using Power Putty. Therefore, the oils on your hands should not modify the color pigment as much causing it to rub off onto your hands. Do not expose Power Putty to extreme temperatures for an extended amount of time. Store the Power Putty in the container you received with it when you purchased our product. Putty may become softer over time.

Do not mix with other putty!
I purchased the medium (dark blue) and firm (dark green) putty, and they both work great. I'm hoping regular use will prevent arthritis and repetitive strain injury, given that I use computers all day long. The dark blue putty leaves a residue on your hands, but this will stop after about 3 or 4 sessions. I'm hoping this will also be the case with the dark green. The worst thing about the product is the fist-shaped container, which is inconveniently difficult to close and open. A word of warning: Do not bring the putty into contact with another brick of putty. They will fuse and won't be able to be completely separated.

I Do Not recommend this product
I Do Not recommend this product. Putty is not therapy putty. It is too firm to work with. Even for a active male who works with his hands. I tried to soften the putty with my good strong hand for 5 minutes to no avail. all it did was ware my good hand out and colored it blue-ish green as well.

Power Putty Hard
Product is what I was looking for as far as firmness. It does however color your hands when using it. It washes off but it is kind of a pain.

but I was disappointed that every single time I used this product it ...
I've used Power Putty Medium before and wanted something a little harder, but I was disappointed that every single time I used this product it left a green stain in my palms. I thought it'd stop after the first few uses, but it's EVERY time. Medium Power Putty is blue and it never left a blue stain. The discoloration is even somewhat difficult to wash off. I recommend getting Power Putty MEDIUM. It's not that much easier than HARD and it won't stain your hands.

Turns your hands the color of the putty
I used this for about a week. It started to get sticky. It also is pretty dense so the 3oz is very small. It has now started to turn my hands green

Firmest putty I have used
I love this stuff and have been buying it for years. I either keep losing it or someone is swiping it. Its great to have around on my desk to mindlessly squeeze and work on grip strength/endurance for climbing. My only complaint is that is turns my hands green and pulls the moisture from my skin. Still worth it. The only other brand I tired was no where near as firm.

Good climbers putty BUT NOT ENOUGH OF IT!
This green putty is good stuff but plan on buying several pieces to get enough to actually work with. These packages ONLY have 2oz of putty, NOT the advertised 5.6oz. Please see the attached pictures.
