Good case but not for long-term
So A little over a year ago I bought this case for my work phone, and really liked it for a while (I got it with the car vent attachment which is the best vent phone holder I’ve ever had) but the rubber around the edges wore away really badly. I usually buy Speck brand cases and on those the rubber is the last to go, which is what’s really protecting the phone, especially the screen. On other cases the rubber is built up around the screen to give it a little protection (if the phone lands screen-down on a flat surface, the actual screen would not hit the surface). However, with the Budu case, I would regularly break new (glass) screen protectors within a day or two of putting them on. Finally I just bought a Speck case for my work phone only to find when I took my phone out of the Budu case that the actual screen got hit on the edge and is now cracked. I’m gonna have fun explaining that one to my boss...Point is: the Budu case was cool for the fact of the accessories, but when it came to actually protecting the phone, left something to be desired. If they did a redesign and used a different rubber that sat up from around the screen more, this problem would likely be fixed.
