I purchased this holster after reading the reviews, which I always do, for my new S&W 686 357 magnum. I am VERY satisficed with it. It fits my 686 like a glove. I highly recommend this holster due to it's fantastic look , fit and price.

I bought this holster for my Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 986 with the 2.5" barrel. It is very similar to the model 686 with the non-fluted cylinder, except that the cylinder is shorter on my 986 7-shot 9mm. That said, this MASC holster fits perfectly. The quality is quite exceptional for the price; nice, thick leather, well made, hand finished. My package arrived from Turkey very quickly - about the same amount of time it takes to receive any order from Amazon Prime. I am very pleased with the quality, the fit, the feel, and the service!

I have S&W 686Plus 2.5 inch 7 shot. I own both the shoulder and OWB hip holsters. I'm very pleased with quality and comfort. I'm 5'10 broad shoulder and big bone 67 yr old with occasional hip and shoulder issues. I carry my 686 everyday and for many hours. I run short-haired pointers on state land..sometimes not easy walking. I hardly notice the sidearm. Fits nice and snug like a big hug.

Form, fit and function is exquisite. Fits the 686 2.5 inch barrel like a glove.

A little overpriced, but it fits my Smith and Wesson 686 plus 7 shot 2.5 inch barrel 357 magnum perfectly. It is easy to draw out of the holster and feels secure on my body.

I was surprised at the quality of this holster. Leather is thick and stiff, formfitted to my firearm. It has a plastice paddle that inserts into the top of your pants and has two dog ears that attach below the wast band. The paddle portion is shapped like your hip and evenly distributes the weight of your firearm comfortably. My weapon is quite heavy but this holster makes it seem as light as one of my smaller firearms. All day comfort. It does not fit as closely to the body as a pancake style holster, but is snug and secure. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing full blown MMA with the holster but karate or Aikido techniques on someone I would feel good about using this holster.
