EAG Front Bumper with Winch Plate Fits for 87-06 Wrangler TJ YJ

Excellent produce and great workmanship. Installation went very smooth even though ad states “no cutting or drilling” but first thing I had to do was grind a larger radius on the support gussets so they would clear the round cross member on the frame to allow for complete installation ( not a big deal for me but might be for someone else). All things considered, the installation also went easy on my 2000 Jeep Sahara. I highly recommend this company and this product, exceeded my expections in every aspect. This bumper is equal in quality, finish and construction to other bumpers costing twice as much (I won’t mention names but, you know who they are). Thanks EAG, get a web site and make more stuff!

Looks great on my 95 YJ. Fits the winch perfectly, powdercoat looks well done, welds look solid. Overall awesome for the price. I'm really happy with it.

When this thing showed up it was well packaged and the bumper looked great. That's where my happy feelings stopped. The bumper would not fit my YJ without me having to do some heavy grinding one the mounting holes on the bumper because they did not even come close to lining up. Once i finally got it on I noticed that it was quite straight but nothing could be done because it was how it was welded together. So I mounted my winch and took it on a short overland run. That when I found out that the hole for the winch line was not cut big enough for the fairlead. The hole is cut to the exact same size as the Hawes fairlead so when you winch the line in it rubs on the sharp bumper. It needs to be about 3/8" bigger for this not to happen. So basically this made it to where my winch is useless. Thank goodness I was with a group and we had other options. I contacted EAG and they basically said That they would take it back even though it had been "used" and "modified" the modified part is when I had to grind the holes out to get it on. I asked if maybe I just got a "bad one" and was basically told that how they make them. The offered me 20% off a rear bumper if I wanted to keep it or I could send it back. But since I didn't keep the box it came in I would have to find or buy a box to ship it back. Its beginning to look like it may just be easier to keep it and "mod" the heck out of it to make it actually functional then it would be to send it back at the risk of them not liking fact that I had to grind out the holes and its now got rub marks all over it from the winch line dragging on it and them not giving me my money back. So NO I wouldn't recommend This bumper for anyone with a YJ or that wants an actual winch bumper. After contacting EAG and explaining my issues they offered a discount on my next purchase. I've been using the bumper for.months now and have used it to pull many vehicles out and has held up well.

I own a welding shop and I can't make one for the price and to be honest it's pretty nice. Of course a custom made 1 would have been superior but for a mass produced thing like this it's honestly really nice and quite thick and strong.

Really good bumper for the price. Looks sharp. It took some fudgeing to get it on there, but no biggie at all. Fits perfect on my 1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Definitely recommend this bumper
