I'm a big fan of her art. Loved this book. It's best as a nice coffee table book to show friends. It has lots of paintings not sold in her usual collections, which delighted me; and I ended up taking three of them out of the book and framing them. But then now I'll need to buy a second book for the coffee table, as I've messed up the first, but it was worth it to have three small but phenomenal paintings for the low price of the book. I have many of her paintings on the wall, but I like to also have this book to flip through whenever I want to gaze at a bunch of her paintings, as they have a healing and inspirational effect on me. They're symbolic messages of what women can be and are at their spiritual core. They honor nature's beauty and wisdom and our ability to merge with that.

Beautiful book with very lovely prints of Josephine's art to look at. Nice addition to my coffee table. Book shipped very quickly.

This is an absolutely fantastic collection of some of Josephine Wall's most wildly creative dreamlike paintings. The work is filled with luminous splendor and unbounded creativity and rich in colorful complexity. I bought this book for my daughter and loved it so much I had to get one for my niece too.

I have both Celestial Art and the Fantasy World of Josephine Wall, who is my very favorite artist. I believe the hardcover version is worth the extra money as the photos can go right to the edge and might become damaged in a soft cover copy. If you love her work, I would also recommend you buy both. There are just a couple of pics that are in both books, but not many. I love almost every piece in both. If you can only get one, than I think I would personally choose the Fantasy World one as it has the most complete collection of what I consider to be some of her most famous pieces. The Celestial one also has just a bit more reading content throughout than the Fantasy one.

This book is full of beautiful art. Every time I look at one of her pictures I have to spend time really taking it in, yet there is always more to see.

This book is gorgeous. The paintings are breathtaking. I like that they have stuff about the painter as well as some wonderful quotes. I just love flipping through the book and taking in the complexity of the paintings.

This book is worth it for the images alone, but the analysis of the themes and motifs of Wall's artwork make it that much better!

Josephine Wall is an incredible artist. This book has insights into her work and thinking. If you have enjoyed her pictures, you will enjoy this book.

This is a rather nice little hardback book featuring the work of Josephine Wall, who specialises in colourful, optimistic fantasy painting.It`s a very well-illustrated book with plenty of examples of her work; she paints in acrylics and her technique exploits the textural effects possible using the medium.Influences like Rackham and some of the Victorian masters are clear – she most reminds me of Gustave Moreau – though without that artist`s rather darker subject matter.Wall is a popular artist; some may find her a bit cutesy or illustrative, but I like her work; it would have been nice if the publishers had provided the dimensions of the paintings – I don`t get a sense of the scale of the work or know if I`m looking at a detail of something larger much of the time; a small point perhaps, but something of a presentational error all the same.Otherwise, this is a very pleasant book of technically accomplished fantasy work available for a reasonable price that fully deserves your attention if you have any interest in this area of art – and it`s always heartening to encounter a fantasy artist using traditional media in this age of digital dominance.

Amazing quality and price for a hardcover book, a magazine would cost more, (here in Ireland) This is a lovely book, a full page photo of Joesephine Wall's amazing detailed paintings on every page, some spread to almost half the opposite page. This is a smallish book and measures approximately 8+1/2" X 9+1/2" (21 cm' X 23+1/2 cm's) with smooth glossy pages which makes it a delight to hold and contains 127 pages. A book to inspire budding artists.Well worth every penny. If anyone wonders where the titles are for the paintings they can be found on page 127.

When I bought this as an ebook I had reservations about how good the illustrations would look. The answer to that is simple -- they looked every bit as good as on paper. The other reservation I had about this was as to how much would be illustrations and how much would be writing. It is packed full of Josephine's unique artwork, many of my own favorite pieces included. A fantastic buy and a great price too.

I came across Josephine Wall at the New Forest Fairy Festival and was instantly taken with her work. I wanted to take everything home but I had no cash left on me, so I came straight home and ordered this book so that I could browse her wonderful artwork at my leisure. Every piece is stunning, and I enjoy flicking through it every now and then when I need a little inspiration or a pick-me-up. I would love to buy a large framed original one day. If you appreciate the beauty and spirituality of nature, you will love this.

Such a beautiful book. Jo Wall's artwork is stunning and every picture has so much detail on every viewing there is more detail to pick out you may not have noticed before. A wonderful gift for any age. Prompt delivery from the seller.
