Must Have for tattoo maintenance...this is the best stuff out there
Ink Fixx has the best tattoo care products bar none. This stuff is the real deal, and it is worth the extra buck. Would you rather have your tattoo fade/blur while using the cheap stuff, or spend a couple bucks more once a year and have your ink last forever?I originally got Ink Fixx because my tattoo artist threw it in with the deal he gave me. I have used it from day one since I got my tattoo (which has lots of reds, blues, and some yellow in it). Now, 3 years later, people who have never met me before ask me when I got my tattoo (thinking I just got it a few weeks ago). Then I tell them its been 3 years, and they are stunned. Since then I have researched what kinds of ingredients help keep your ink shiny...and this stuff as all of them. This stuff works so well that my tattoo still is raised along most of the lines. I don't let my ink see the sun and I put Ink Fixx on it almost daily. From the looks of it I will have nice definition on my tattoo for a long time to come because of this stuff.I tend to alternate between using the Ink Fixx lotion and the ointment. As my artist put it...the lotion is your daily driver, and the ointment is the car wax to make it sparkle when you want to show it off.Between the vitamins and all natural moisturizers, this stuff has just the right mix of stuff to be the best tattoo care product out there. Go ahead and do some google research on the kinds of things you want to care for your tattoo with. Those things will basically spell out the ingredients to Ink Fixx.

very mediocre product
Have used this stuff, A&D, Tattoo Goo, regular lotions, etc on more than just a couple tattoos (new and old). So far this is one of my least favorite ointments. Yes it does do it's job as far as helping to heal a new tattoo. However, it's basically just oil and wax and acts as such. It melts from the heat of your skin which is nice, but seems thin. It feels very oily/greasy until you get it completely rubbed in, and that takes a while. You have to apply this stuff several times a day and it's easy to over apply being so thin . If a tattoo constantly has too much moisture basically scabs can't form or become too soft, making the ink fall out. Also when it starts getting dry the wax kind of separates and sticks to your clothes, then you end up with for example, a shirt stuck to your new (and tender) tattoo. And it smells like vegetable oil, not the best smell (has soybean and corn oil in it). It also doesn't have 2 important ingredients that help heal tattoos. Vitamin E is an antioxidant and lavender oil is an antiseptic, both of which are in Tattoo Goo, my personal favorite (and made out of different, better smelling oils too!). It doesn't seem to 'brighten up' old tattoos as well as Tattoo Goo either. For about the same price, I would definitely recommend Tattoo Goo or even A&D over this stuff.

Great tattoo fix.
I really like this ointment. It has no smell and is not greasy at all. It's very good at keeping the tattoo lubricated and easy to apply. I would definitely recommend it!
