This kit has been great! It has all the things I need to block a large variety of projects - I've already done a sweater and a shawl and it made a world of difference on my items. It was missing a couple small items from the kit when I received it, but the seller very quickly sent the missing things with no trouble at all, and they were very responsive to my query. If you do a lot of lace projects like I do, I'd say don't hesitate to splash out on this kit. You'll be able to hit the ground running and have a nice finish to your work.

A little fiddly but soo worth the trouble !!!!!
If you have ever tried to block anything into a true square without these you will now how frustrating it can be. It took me about an hour to block this 48" shawl but it was worth the trouble. The end result was a beautiful, square shawl that I can be proud of.

Worked great!
Wires worked great when blocking a knitted lacy scarf. Used the longest wires and they were plenty long enough for the 5 1/2 foot long scarf.

Yardstick included!
Got them to help block an excessively long scarf my grandchild needed in Hogwart colors. Since scarf has just crossed the half way point haven't used them yet. But it came with a metal yardstick which has been used three times. That yardstick is awesome.

Generally good with some minor inconveniences
Good but not outstanding. The wires come in a good range of sizes, but they need wiping down - they have a light coating of oil on them - and the makers don't seem to have been very careful when dipping the wire tips. The ends look like they've been dipped in a liquid rubber or silicon compound. That's a good idea in general, as it keeps them from being too sharp, but the dipping seems to have been done a bit haphazardly. Some wires have a smooth, lightly dipped tip; others have big globs of the compound on them, making them bulky and difficult to thread through delicate work. Definitely wipe these down before use.
