Seems like it will be a good cabinet for paint storage. Only time will tell. Like another has said, the bottom lip makes it tough to get larger items on the bottom.I had to un-do my installation not once, but TWICE, due to the instructions being horrible.#1: Part D is listed as "Peak Plates", which are the top and bottom. It wasn't until I had the 2nd almost fully bolted on when I realized that the two part "D" are NOT created equal. The one that it to be used for the TOP has the "Homak" label on it. If you put that "D" part on the BOTTOM, the name will be upside down. Maybe not a big deal for a garage cabinet, but if you're anal like me, you'll want it right-side up.#2: OK, this one didn't trip me up, but other have mentioned it, so for completeness' sake:The two sides ("Cheek Plates") and the back ("Backboard") have the shelp support ridges in them. So make sure all the elements have them on the INSIDE and pointing the same way (up or down).#3: The aforementioned "Peak plates" attach to the sides/back, but there's no real indication of which side element goes to the inside of the cabinet, and which stays on the outside. The way I did it (which appears correct) is that the rear (longer dimension) of the top/bottom goes OUTSIDE of the backplate...while the sides go INSIDE the side pieces. So, if you're looking at the side straight on, you'll see only the side plate on both the top at the bottom...however, if you're looking at the rear, you'll see the ~1" lip of the top/bottom overhanging the back plate.Assembly should've only taken me 30 minutes, but due to these do-overs, it took me over an hour. Here's hoping I save someone else that hassle!

Bought this item as a give away for our car club. It is a good quality cabinet and we would purchase from this seller again.

I ordered three cabinets and they arrived by USMail (!) in good shape with no damage at all. All parts were present and accounted for in each box. Foam sheets an cardboard prevented adjacent pieces from abrading each other. All the panels looked reasonably sturdy and well painted. Now as for assembly... The instructions are terrible. There is NO mention or pictures of how to assemble the hinges, none. There are no pictures of the top and how to install it. There is only the bottom being shown. Fortunately I was able to figure out how things went and the assembly went along easily, but I've done this kind of thing before. Beware if you're not very intuitive.The assembled cabinets were sufficiently sturdy and looked pretty sharp with their industrial black and grey coloring. Overall they are an excellent value for the money and I recommend them to anyone willing to do a little work themselves and save a big chunk of money. Assembly time for me was about 30 minutes each, but you might take an hour and a half if you don't have a lot of experience and no power tools (I have a battery operated nut driver).

I ordered two of these and am very happy with the purchase. The installation instructions leave a lot to be desired - no written instructions, small illustrations, missing references to specific parts. After getting past that, however, with a bit of thought the build is almost intuitive. Don't force anything - if properly positioned, the installation is easy. Also, as noted in another review, if you want to join two units to create a double cabinet, it's pretty easy. Just temporarily install the side fasteners on the sides that will be joined (one on top and bottom each) then remove them after the rest of the cabinet is complete. Push two together, put the bolts through and voila, double cabinet! Great value, will be buying two more.

Was not difficult to put together. Took about 30 minutes to put the first one together. The other two took even less time! They are very sturdy after everything is tightened up. The top and bottom go on exactly the same. The instructions omitted the top installation. But very happy with the results. Would buy again! All hardware was of good quality. They came very well packaged. I ordered 3. 2 came in one box. The other came in it's own box. But no damage in transit and Amazon delivery brought it to my garage for delivery!

First off... the packaging is ridiculously bad... I probably should have returned it but with some vice grips and a hammer was able to get every thing where is was supposed to be..2nd.. the WORST directions I've ever seen! might as well throw them out and wing it... HORRIBLE!!3rd.. went together relatively easy but has a ton of small screws and nuts..4th.. even after all that I recommend the cabinet.. I think it nice looking and seems pretty solid..5th my wife liked it so much she ordered 3 more to put in a row... that's a lot of screws and nuts I'll be putting in.... hopefully these come without the damage....

I’m on my third one so I know the drill. They look great but require attention to detail such as level, mounting, having a helper, tools. Two things that are important, when you put the door pins in place tape the pin to the door after installation of not one or two openings and they fall out and the plastic grommets that the door pins go into need to be glued in because they fall out too

It's a decent cabinet and serves it purpose to store my yard chemicals locked away from anyone's reach. I had hoped it would have been a bit thicker metal, but them is was cheaper than my other brand of shop cabinets.

Can't beat the quality of this cabinet for the price. Relatively easy to assemble for one person. Took me about an hour to put together. Really happy with this utility cabinet.
