Baser - Outdoor fillable straight sandbags, 15 to 25 KG fillable weight bags for parasols, cantilevers and garden accessories

Ordered these a few days ago and received them before they'd been promised which was a bonus because I'd hesitated for quite a while over what kind of weights to get for our parasol.In the end I got these because I there were so many versions of the shaped slab-type ones (sorry, I don't know what they are called) and I really didn't know which ones would be best.So, got them, went to get the sand, just got basic, reasonable quality sand which was cheap, and filled them up. No problems at all filling them because it was simple to put the plastic inner inside, fold it over the outer for filling, then fold the opening over a few times and tuck under. The velcro fastening of the outer folds in on itself and it really strong, I actually struggled to get it open at first. One of the reasons that I didn't get the other type of weight is that some reviews were saying that they struggled to get the sand in, or ended up using water which I didn't want to do, or they had to buy expensive play sand. But I had no problems with these.On the parasol, they are laid across each other and work a treat.I can't emphasise enough how great the quality is. The bags look as though they'll last a lifetime, the stitching is perfect and we didn't worry about carrying each bag with the handle even when weighing 25kg.They look nice as well, they actually tone with my patio furniture so don't stand out. And I could use them anywhere and on anything unlike the shaped solid weights.I suppose the only down side is the price but, having bought them, I'm can see why they cost this much. Yes, you can get cheaper weights but I'm not sure that they would be as good at the job or look as good when sited. I was going to take them down a star just for the price but, having used them, I've put 5 stars because they are such great quality, well worth the money.

Excellent product and seems very durable. Had a slight issue with the lining bag but really excellent customer service from Christian in sorting it for me. Would buy again

Yep they are expensive, but they work. Sometimes the best solution costs the most.

They do the job once you fill them with sand which is not cheap. Personally I used shingle a little more pliable if you wish to slightly shape the bags when full.These bags are some £16.00 each which is somewhat pricey for a bag. Then you have tha additional expense of the filling plus the effort of collecting quite a weight from the DIY store or builders merchant. Sand is usually wet when you buy it making it very heavy to carry. For this reason I used shingle, same price but not so heavy to carry.All in all this is a very good item as long as you can afford it.

I have since bought similar products for half the price I wish I had done more research as I would have purchased these from another supplier . Quality is good price is crazy but my fault for not doing my research

Pratiques car faciles à remplir ( sable ), à poser et à déplacer. Apportent beaucoup de stabilité au parasol. De part leur longueur et leur épaisseur, ils couvrent bien les pieds métalliques en croix et sont donc plus visibles ainsi ils évitent aux enfants de se prendre les pieds dedans. Je recommandes.

handig om product te verplaatsen om bvb een parasolvoet te verstevigen ( en eventueel ook voor andere doeleinden) + het product stoort ook niet omdat het ook mooi oogt

Mittlerweile habe ich über 12 der Sandsäcke im Einsatz seit mehreren Jahren, für zwei Schirmständer und mittlerweile auch für die Fixierung eines Faltpavillions. Zwei Säcke pro Ecke, fixiert mit einfachen Spanngurten - der Pavillion (freistehend) hat auch die letzten Unwetter unbeschadet überstanden. Wer eine haltbare und vernünftige Lösung sucht findet mit den Säcken - ob gebogen oder gerade - genau das Richtige. Ich habe die Sandsäcke mit einfachem Basaltsplit aus dem Baumarkt gefüllt weil das Zeug keine Feuchtigkeit zieht - perfekt.
