As of right now can’t find anything wrong or to complain about the product definitely have more energy since introducing this product to my daily regimen.

I bought this because I read that Black Maca Root is good for energy. So far it has helped me.

First time taking black maca but I’ve busted just yellow maca powder and a mix of all three popular colors in pill form. The bottle says the formula is gelatinized but I got crazy bloated and couldn’t digest food well. This is something I’ve never felt with the other maca I’ve used (for months on end no less). I had to quit using these pills after three days or I would’ve exploded. The plus side is that these pills really kicked up my energy in such a short time.

This black maca supplement ticks off many sought after features: Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten free, GMP.The maca is gelatinized, which is a 'cooking' process that supposedly makes more of the health benefit aspects more available during digestion. Some companies further this process to increase potency by creating extracts of the maca. Apparently this is not the case for this product. So, you are getting black maca at 'normal' concentration. This is not a bad thing, and does not affect the rating, just noting it with regards to concentration of maca.You can purchase black maca, in raw or gelatinzed powdered form, for less than encapsulated supplements. However, you pay for the convenience and portability. Trust me, it's much easier to transport capsules, than try to explain baggies of maca powder. haha.I will admit to being slightly confused by the information in the product details. My research indicated that black maca was mainly suited for males, red maca for females, and yellow maca was generally fine for everyone. Being male, I'm fine with testing and using this supplement. Personally, I think a female should carefully consider the wisdom of taking black maca, and perform some extensive research.From personal perspective, this black maca supplement is very helpful in maintaining maca in my supplement routine, especially during any travels away from home.I would give these a high level recommendation.
