Premium Medjool Dates (5 lbs) Fresh, Soft, and Sweet

These Sincerely Nuts Medjool Dates were 56¢/oz when I ordered them while the Bergin Nuts Medjool Dates were 91¢/oz. When I googled, I found that dates are NOT normally treated with pesticides anyway, so I wasn't willing to pay extra for Bergin's "organic" designation in this case. That being said, Bergin Medjool dates are succulent and delicious, and the last batch I had was out of this world. It was, therefore, with some trepidation that I decided to order the cheaper product. I needn't have worried. When I received the Sincerely Nuts Medjool Dates today, I found that they, too, were soft, moist, and delicious. The main difference that I noted is that whereas the Bergin product is smooth, Sincerely Nuts dates are a little wrinkly, as the picture shows. They are not "dry wrinkly" but "moist wrinkly." If the two brands were the same price, I suppose I would go with Bergin because that is what I am used to. The fact is, however, that they are not even close in price, and for me the difference is not enough to warrant spending 40% more on Bergin. Both are fabulous dessert dates. I serve two or three on a small dessert plate with a tablespoon or two of homemade cashew cream, and everyone's sweet tooth is satisfied at the end of a meal.

Very soft & chewy batch with caramel-like consistency. I use them to replace sugar in desserts, snacks & even tea which I blend in my vitamix. Great in my "granola powerballs" in pics. Blend dates with cookie butter, walnut butter & unrefined coconut oil. Then mix them with nuts, crasins, coconut & drizzle chocolate over balls before refrigerating. Awesome anytime snack. Very versitile dates!

These dates were seriously some of the best I've ever had. They were incredibly sweet and chewy.What's even better is the amazing value this bag offers. You get so many dates in this 5 lb bag, and the price is really reasonable for the quality and quantity you're getting. It's a great deal that's hard to pass up. I really enjoyed these dates, and I can easily see myself buying them again. If you're a fan of dates or even if you've never tried them before, I think you'll be impressed by this big bag. It's a delicious snack that's definitely worth trying out.

I wanted to make those "two ingredient cookies" that require medjool dates and although not out-of-sight expensive at the market, I preferred the opportunity to check out customer reviews, buy in bulk, and save a little money. I've bought this brand twice out of three times. The time I bought another brand was only because Nuts was not available that one time. These are wonderful, moist, sweet (but not too sweet), easy to remove the seed, and are actually good for you.

I love medjool dates nowadays. Actually used to eat a couple of regular dates 3 to four times a day and they are my favorite snack or desert, whatever you call it. I did not like any other dates, but on my last trip to Pakistan, I had a some medjool dates and I loved them. After arriving back in USA, I first ordered a box from amazon and they were very good but after that I started buying from Aldi stores where they have very good quality, soft medjool dates available at a very good price. I was not getting a chance to go to Aldi store because of my awkward timing and I found these dates on Amazon. They should had been very good but if not smashed in shipping or maybe at a warehouse. They are in a plastic pouch and were delivered in a plastic packing and not in box. These particular medjool dates ruined my snacking and today I even swallowed a pit because it was lost somewhere in the "paste". I got refund from amazon but I can't throw them away and have to finish them.

Overripe, mushy. I would not buy again.

I purchased these after reading reviews and checking prices. I live in Scottsdale, AZ and there is a date ranch minutes from my house. I won't pay $10-15 per pd for dates though.These came in a plastic square container--not as pictured in a bag.But they were sealed tight and upon opening and trying on, I COULD NOT STOPEATING THEM. So juicy and sweet.It was a hassle that they contained pits but well worth the price.

The dates are wonderful. They are equal to or better than other brands we have purchased.
