Immediately improve your critical thinking!
You think you make great decisions, but you don’t! You think you are a creative, outside of the box, thinker, but you’re biased (in more ways than one!). We are a morass of biases and when operating in groups we engage in cultural and behavioral pitfalls that reduce our abilities to effectively and accurately reason. Yet, we never notice this and never notice the damage it does until well after the failure or misstep occurs. Bryce Hoffman’s new book will change the way you approach business decisions and will immediately improve your ability to think critically. This book provides a clear set of tools that can be applied to stress test plans, question status-quo, break down biases, and re-frame decisions. It is one of those rare business books that can be immediately put to use and is surely destined to become canon. You will be doing your business, your brain, and future decisions a favor by reading and applying what you learn in this book. I always knew at some point I would figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, but little did I know it would be a red teamer!

Just Red Team already....or keep your head in the sand.
I heard about this book initially on Art of Manliness. I'm glad I picked it up. The concept of Red Teaming is powerful and would seem a natural for this current generation as far as questioning everything. But they lack the critical thinking skills to fully think through matters and truly see things from a different perspective. This book give a lot of tools, techniques and ideas to start your own red team. Bottom line organizations should not fear a red team questioning all their assumptions. It will only make you better or perhaps survive the constant change.

A good overview on Red Teaming
Having read a fair amount of material on "structured analytic techniques" including Red Teaming, I thought this book was clear and insightful and a good addition to my bookshelf.

Finally, an authoritative, operational guide to Red Teaming and its implications for the business world.
While the terms “Red Team” and “Red Teaming” have been around for quite awhile, until now there has not been an adequate “go to” source for what it really means in a business context. More importantly, Bryce Hoffman tells us not only WHAT it is, he provides historical and military associations, and the best part is that he tells us HOW to implement Red Teaming. Hoffman is skillfully able to learn and understand the origins and military aspects of Red Teaming and translate it into “business speak”. Hoffman’s writing style helps make Red Teaming more understandable and practical rather than an illusive concept. This book should now be required reading in Business schools and leadership training.

Well Written and Researched
I found the comparisons of how this military strategy can be applied to business very interesting. I feel that "Red Teaming" would have been very beneficial to the companies I worked for during my corporate career. The examples and comparisons given throughout the book are easy to understand. Business leaders and MBA students will benefit by reading this well written book.

Red Teaming is a Guide
Superbly researched and written! Bryce Hoffman's journalism career is a foundation for a well documented and smooth flowing read in RED TEAMING. The revolutionary thinking and questions challenge leaders to be contrarians rather than accept the norm. Some helpful tools are also shared. Tying all of the concepts and tools together is the key as one system is the path to success.
