We are replacing a set we purchased over a year ago just to add more to our deck. These are great and last a long time. We have not had to replace batteries or do anything to them. We have our set on the stairs going up to our deck and they light up as we walk up. You can set them in different modes and the one we just purchased are for the deck and will be set to come on dim and brighten when someone comes up. That way it will not annoy the neighbors for them being too bright. Buy with confidence and in my package it came with a 36-month covered period that I activated right away. It must be done within 14 days after receiving your item.

This is the gold standard for solar motion lights! I've bought them many times. Great battery life, great wide-angle bright light, good mode controls, very weatherproof! I hang them up with wood screws. The magnets and adhesives are very good though and I've used those in other projects.These lights are attractive, durable, and make bright white light. They outperform all my other solar lights and are cheaper too! Definitely pick some up, even if you don't need more lights right now. Somebody you know can use them, and they're a great investment in the future too. We feel much more comfortable going on night walks now that we have some of these out in the woods :)The only thing I will caution you about is that these lights are good at attracting moths when they're running. If you put a light right above your door, you'll bring moths inside the house with you sometimes. I recommend using the motion sensor mode in that use case. It's the only mode I use and my lights are always still able to make bright light at the end of the night.

These do exactly what they say. They are cheap and have been working for many months now. I have them placed on my back porch, so my slightly blind dog turns them on when he goes out at night, and it helps her see her way out. Thy are what they are and for that they work fine. I'm amazed at how bright they are, but for my use they just turn on, run for 30 seconds and turn off- not stay on for long periods of time.

I bought a pair of these solar lights a year ago and they have performed properly for the last year so this month I purchased another two pack.The first two units I mounted on the south-facing side of the wood fence that encircles my back yard. This is the best direction to face these lights since the solar cells are on top and at a slight slope. So in this application the solar cells faced upward and a bit toward the south. I bought this new two-pack and placed them on the wooden fence opposite the two earlier ones so the solar cells on these light units are facing upwards and north, which is not the best direction particularly in the winter months.I live in the Pacific Northwest where we do not get a lot of sun in the winter so I have programmed these four units in the third mode where they are off at night and only turn on to the brightest light setting if they sense motion. I have found that these units still have enough power to turn the lights on at 5:30 AM even after several cloudy days. I don’t know if there would be enough energy stored in these units to handle one of the other modes where the lights are on all night.This lighting kit comes with bright silver screws for attaching the unit to a fence or wall. The unit itself is black plastic so the screw heads stand out. So to I hit the screw heads with a spray can of flat black paint a day before I installed the units on my fence. See the picture.

I needed strong, bright solar lights, along the side of my house where my garbage can is. Also, a light where I park my vehicle. I'm in the mountains where there aren't any street lights. These came very well packaged, with easy-to-follow instructions, (not that you will even need them).One thing to make note of: I just screwed them in and hadn't turned them on, thinking they were good to go out of the box. Hah, silly me. I had to dig my directions pamphlet out of the trash. There are three settings.They appear to be very durable. I LOVE THESE LIGHTS. They are super bright. They're the brightest solar lights I've ever had. I hope they last a good, long while because they're terrific. Also, they caught motion from me at quite a decent distance. I no longer feel creeped out if I have to get to my garbage can at night.

Received this pack of 4 solar lights. 3 of the 4 work great. The 4th one arrived damaged. The light sensor is pushed into the housing. Since the 4 were jam packed into a small box, I have to assume this was broken at the factory during packaging. No way I can use this outside exposed to rain. There is no way to open this unit to re-seat the ring gasket and sensor. Company owes me another solar light unit.
