Great coffee
Wonderful brew and though expensive it’s certainly worth the money.

Coffee
I bought it thinking I was supporting American grown coffee from a Kona but the label is misleading didn't realize its a blend and doesn't tell you how much is kona. I will say the coffee is medium roast smells kinda like bananas and tastes a little like it.. tastes great as espresso but disappointed it wasn't 100 percent kona coffee but it's probably the best blend kona coffee I've ever had, just be aware it's a blend and not all kona coffee.

Great Cup of Joe
Enjoying a cup of this wonderful brew as I type this. This coffee tastes great and is one of the more affordable Hawaiian coffees. A win-win for me.

Absolutely AWEFUL
One of the many many reasons that I do not like Amazon. The description was dead wrong, this coffee is dead terrible and what more is there to say other than…shame on you Amazon!

Fantastic cup of Joe. Artisanal roasting.
Coffee arrived in 2 days. The beans smell and look perfectly roasted. $20 for a pound of Kona coffee is a great deal, especially because this coffee is roasted local to me in Minnesota/Wisconsin. Support a small business and buy this amazing coffee. It just might change your relationship with coffee.I make a cup of coffee with these beans every morning in my aeropress. Best, smoothest cup of coffee I’ve ever experienced. Plus, the beans are non-GMO, Organic, and ethically sourced. It starts with the farmers, folks. Thanks to those farmers and thanks River Moon.

Review - [FOLLOW-UP] River Moon Coffee, Kona Coffee Beans
FOLLOW-UP - 05/22I am 're-dressing' my original review [See Below] of Blue Moon's Kona Blend.Mind you, this was a 'go-to', for myself & Wife, because of it's low-acid and great-taste, for the last couple of years...My last two purchases of "Kona Blend" have lead me to believe, that I will not be purchasing any further 'Kona', as of now; Both bags [1 pd - whole bean] have been pretty bad.One of a couple of issues were very prevalent regarding these purchases. Firstly, the beans we received were either too old and/or over roasted, or both. The coffee had a bitter aftertaste and was not smooth at all - Also, after it had sat abit in your cup, I noticed a more definite sheen of 'oil', on the coffee surface. This was never present in the past purchases we have enjoyed. We never finished the first bag [owing to the 'bad taste], and I did re-purchased 'second' after afew weeks, figuring perhaps it had been a 'bad-batch' [if you have drank drip-coffee as long as I have, one does expect a 'bad-batch' every now-and-then, from a coffee maker...]. I just opened this bag and AGAIN, it is pretty bad - Brewed a pot - And ended up dumping it; going with another low-acid whole bean, to get the morning started.I honestly am taken back with the quality of Blue Moon here, regarding what we have been enjoying over the last two years, plus. It has truly wrecked the 'morning-coffee-experience', if you get my drift. AND 'no', neither of us, do the 'Starbucks Thing'.At now over $23.00 a bag, I'd expect a better tasting coffee, given the price, per pound... And I believe, I can spend my monies on a better tasting coffee - Low acid - Smooth taste - Somewhere else. I can honestly say, until there's improvement in quality, I won't be buying this one for sometime. It's your money...Org. Nov 2020 -Bought this to try out - Smooth - Low Acid - Fresh Tasting Excellent/Very Good Morning Cup of Coffee. Yes - It is a 'Blend', however as far as 'blends' go, it is one of the better ones out there. AND "No", we are not big fans/fans of 'our' homegrown Starbucks [IE Coffee Snobs]... WE take it drip style, with a Braun and I grid every pot of my beans, as needed. One of the selling points with this 'blend', is when you come back to the pot, 60-90 mins later, there is no bitter/burnt taste with this Kona Blend - Which is nice. Will we buy more, no doubt we will -- EDB

Oh How The Mighty Have Fallen....
I am cutting and pasting another review because it so well written and I agree 100% - I used to think this was the best coffee I had ever tasted - Then the price increased 50%, the quality went to hell and there is no way to contact River Moon (Wish I still lived next door to Mequon so I could stop in and see what the hell is going on because now this is barely drinkable and I feel like I've been had. And I don't like it:" FOLLOW-UP - 05/22I am 're-dressing' my original review [See Below] of Blue Moon's Kona Blend.Mind you, this was a 'go-to', for myself & Wife, because of it's low-acid and great-taste, for the last couple of years...My last two purchases of "Kona Blend" have lead me to believe, that I will not be purchasing any further 'Kona', as of now; Both bags [1 pd - whole bean] have been pretty bad.One of a couple of issues were very prevalent regarding these purchases. Coffee tasted burned, over roasted, and the beans were decidedly ordinary. This used to be REALLY SPECIAL coffee. Now it's just generic.Buyer Beware - ESPECIALLY If you fell in love with this blend and haven't been "lucky" enough to go from paying $38/bag to about $58/bag, then drop back down to a more reasonable price of about $42/bag.The bad news is that now it's almost undrinkable.REALLY would like to know what happened here....
