Jack Link's Original Meat Snack, 13 Ounce

Been a fan of jerky for 5 decades. Prefer making my own, but that can be a hassle. Not really a fan of the softer jerky that's sold everywhere these days. Definitely not a fan of the crazy prices for jerky these days either. I was on Amazon one day and thought I'd look up jerky prices and see how they compare to prices I've seen in my local stores lately. Found this stuff for just under $10 for 13oz. You get 13oz total. It comes in four separate 3.25oz bags that are taped together. The tape is a tad annoying. So yeah, at first I thought the price was too good to be true. And there was zero feedback (I'm the first feedback I guess). It felt a little sketchy, so I re-read everything like 5 times to make sure I wasn't going to get ripped off and receive four 1oz sample packs or something weird. Or worse yet, no returns/refunds or etc tricks. It looked ok, so I ordered $20 worth and got exactly what I hoped for. The jerky I received tasted good enough to me. It's big-production-line stuff, so I wasn't expecting the best I've ever had. It was fine though. I was worried I'd receive old stock or some other nasty-tasting stuff like an off batch. Especially since I had read a lot of Jack Links reviews (from other sellers) just before buying this brand. Many people complain of weird smell/taste/softness/etc with the Jack Links brand. So far all that I've ordered has been good. In fact, I turned right around and bought $50 more worth from this same seller. This time the price was a little better at $9.32 for each 13oz bundle. I will probably buy more again from this seller. I can always freeze it. And generally speaking, prices are only going up these days, so why not, right?! All in all: good jerky, great price, fast shipping, no complaints.
