Homemade Bread
My first loaf didn't work well. I didn't realize that there was flour specifically for bread. My second loaf was good. I'm going to try cinnamon bread next. I would recommend.

Love this
I bought this bread machine for a Christmas present for myself. I have tried a lot of bread from the store and I always get heartburn. I have no idea what they put in the bread but probably something to keep it fresh longer. Now I can make my own bread and know what ingredients are inside. I also like the option of light, medium or dark bread. Took a few tries to get the basket out but once I figured it out, it is easy. Just read the instructions.

Easy to use
My husband is the bread maker. Bought this for him and he literally just places the ingredients in the bread maker and it does the job. The kneading process is quite unique! Buy one!!

I think mine is just not quite right in the computer part….
I bought this machine in September 2024… I’ve used it four times and each time things go from bad to worse…the bread is not fully baked, has a huge hole down the center, even the one pound loaf is not fit to eat really…I can’t find anywhere to call or email cuisenart but just so people know…. I do know how to bake bread, have made hundreds of loaves in my life both by hand and bread machine and I do know the selection process for baking on this machine… I did things right I just think I got a lemon….

Not a good investment
The media could not be loaded. I have had this bread machine less than a month. I am an avid baker, so I've already used it to make a few types of dough and lots of bread. Here are my takeaways:1. This cannot be used for 2lb loaves. Every 2lb loaf has had a huge hole in the middle. I believe it's partially due to of the vertical design, but I have used vertical machines before without this issue. I tried swapping my yeast and flour to see if it was an ingredient issue, too.2. The machine has started to wobble off of its axis and gradually has been declining. I have probably used it 12-20 times, so NOT normal wear and tear.3. The light crust setting for a 1lb loaf is VERY light. A white loaf looked legitimately white when taking it out.4. The "add in" feature doesn't seem to have an off switch but is extremely loud. It reverberates through my kitchen!5. The recipe book is a little basic. It doesn't include temperatures or weight based measurements.Unrelated to the product, but relevant to cuisinart: When I initially ordered it, it came with a huge dent. The Amazon box was fine. There was a note in the package saying to call cuisinart with any issues. I called them and they told me they couldn't help me, it was a shipping issue. Not a great start.
